this ai slop is so funny sometimes in how stupid it is because what do you mean it just recreated the matterhorn (the border mountain between italy and switzerland) in this image that was supposed to be set in Canada

me and a friend have a theory and that is that you can put the mr bean cartoon intro music as background to basically anything and it will be always unreasonably funny

am i wrong or is twitter trying to use ai slop to sell their services this background image does not look real to me
yeah spending 250 dollars in ads on a website that doesn't even care to fork out 20 bucks for a stock image is definitely a great idea

paying for overwatch in bitcoin in 2016 might have not been my best financial move

i feel like a big part of my (pop) culture background has developed like it is today mostly because growing up in the early 2000s and consuming a lot of TV meant that i didn't always choose what I was watching and was exposed to different stuff all the time (moreso since I had to split the TV in my bedroom with my sister since for the longest time we shared a bunk bed and we had different taste in media pretty often leading to fights on who got to hold the remote)
on the surface tiktok/reels/yt shorts does a similar thing with an endless scrolling feed BUT it's constantly tailoring it specifically for you and what it thinks you might be interested in based on what you have already watched, creating a sort of echo chamber
i am not saying oh i miss the good old times but idk it's cool when you don't just keep seeing the same stuff over and over again
i think normal youtube (not shorts) is still pretty good for this at least

finally watched "one for the road" yesterday and holy shit that ending got me EMOTIONAL, i'll miss the trio

the end of the grand tour feels kinda personal for me because the top gear trio (and most importantly clarkson's way of talking about cars) is the biggest main inspiration for what i do on youtube personally, trying to have fun and tell stories about something but without only focusing on the one thing but trying to accurately (and entertainingly) portray the context and era and everything
i know me and him do not look or sound alike and even have completely different opinions on some stuff but i owe him what is now effectively becoming my career at this point

talked about this a few times but i have been speaking english since i was born basically, it's been my secondary/tertiary "main" language in that sense, but accent-wise, growing up in another country, i am still improving daily, so yeah happy to have improved in that/confidence too lol
