in a world where subnoscription models for stuff that used to be free or local are becoming the norm and we are being treated like we HAVE to pay rent to some fuckass company to run shit on “the cloud” instead of owning our computer hardware or media or whatever the fuck my resolution for 2026 is to just not do that as much as humanly possible

i am buying most of my hardware used or from shady refurbishers in china harvesting chips from dead motherboards and i have been never happier about it, you can keep your shit if you want to charge me 3x because of this ai data center bullshit, i can get it anyway with you getting none of the money
