On 9th September we will go to the streets in solidarity with communities affected by the floods in Pakistan.

We call upon people everywhere to hold direct actions against fossil fuel infrastructure or financial institutions or to organise a public mass demonstration on the streets!
We will fight for the end of fossil fuels and climate reparations, starting with the IMF canceling unconditionally Pakistan’s debt payments.

‼️For many years , Lake Victoria has been neglected yet it is one of the most important Lakes in the world .

🚫It has been experiencing a rapid increase in pollution that has led to the extinction of animal species such as the indigenous fish and impalas.

☄Moreover , the effects of climate change have had a major hit to biodiversity such as the floods that have killed many people, displaced animals  and the high temperatures has fastened the growth of water hyacinth which is a menace in the lake.

✊🏽We need to address the companies that are taking the wetlands to stop their actions and to demand for justice for the lake
