An Italian company with production plants in Russia is looking for an AREA SALES MANAGER who
- Makes sure to reach the goals of revenues and marginality for the assigned area and promotes activities of scouting of new markets/clients
- Responds to Regional Sales Manager (Sales Director)
- Guides the activities of scouting and acquisition of new clients/dealers and development of the existing ones, basing on the Market Development Plan
- Makes area control through:
- Analysis of monthly sales data,
- Direct relationship with clients and repeated visits with the preparation of the reports of visit and check of the actions in progress and of the corrective ones
- Responsible for the technical specifications of the customer's sales points, promoting the sales of the whole range of standard products of the company
- Provides sales forecasts according to the pre-established procedures and times and participates to the forecast meetings
- Coordinates the activities of placing and launching new products in the area assigned to him
- Follows the activities of negotiation and definition of the commercial conditions
- Guarantees the solvency of the clients managed by him and is responsible for the KPIs assigned to him
- Collaborates with Regional Sales Manager (Sales Director) in making the budget to propose to Sales & Marketing Manager
- Shares feedback and information collected on the territory for possible ideas of product improvement or information on the market and competitors necessary for the development of the proposal with the structures of the Business Unit
- Proposes to the Sales Engineering Manager the customer format and / or retail design projects to be developed in line with the commercial strategies for the reference area, providing adequate visibility in the preparation of the budget
- Where required, defines and keep monitored the project activities, ensuring compliance with the times agreed with the customer and the technical budget of the same
- Requested excellent knowledge of spoken and written Russian language and Italian and / or English and / or French language
- Availability to frequent transfers

Рассказываю, как готовлюсь к интервью. Делать упор буду на мотивацию, т.к. (1) в математике мне нет смысла тягаться со студентами мехмата и мфти, а (2) "сделанная домашняя работа", по мотивации может принести 80% результата при 20% усилий (McKinsey, привет!). Теорию по линалу, терверу и алгоритмам тоже подтяну, но во вторую очередь.

ЗАЧЕМ ВООБЩЕ ТРАТИТЬ ВРЕМЯ НА МОТИВАЦИЮ?
Конечно, на интервью в ШАДе важнее владеть нужными техническими навыками, чем рассказывать истории. Но (опять, по слухам) людей с непрофильным бекграундом, которые давно закончили ВУЗ, допрашивают с пристрастием. Я в их числе. Такую простую (по сравнению с математикой) часть интервью как "мотивация" завалить было бы крайне обидно. Отсюда подготовка, которая, возможно, многим покажется излишней.
