This week we're chirping about Cross-chain messaging and how we utilize it here at Magpie.

🌐 People will do anything to communicate with one another, at one point a bunch of countries even used pigeons to send secure messages as that was less likely to be intercepted than the telegraph.

🔗 Well, cross-chain messaging is much faster & much more secure than sending a pigeon with a note taped to it.

Cross-chain messages are similar to regular blockchain transactions, but rather than ending, the transaction creates a message to be sent through Wormhole or Stargate to another chain.

💨 This makes for a more secure and faster route to get what you want.

Cross-chain messaging allows us to get you your assets on another chain while flying over all the unnecessary steps to save you time ⌛

Bridge liquidity is important, especially for cross-chain swaps, just as regular liquidity is to on-chain swaps.

❗️If you don't have enough liquidity, your swaps could fail, could get a bad price, or be stuck in limbo and have to pay to get out of the bridge, things nobody wants.

✅ Aggregating and putting to use multiple different bridges liquidity will make sure you get the best price with Magpie.

It's similar to aggregating DEX liquidity on-chain, we're doing it to make sure everyone gets the best experience possible.


🔗 Our little birdies will snatch up all the required info and fly it over to the other chain without you needing to figure anything out.

Aggregating from existing bridges and DEXs allows us to provide the best prices and user experience to Magpie users.
