After the beginning of the Special Military Operation in Ukraine on 24.02.2022, he took part in combat operations against Russian troops as a member of the Kastus Kalinowski Regiment, formed from Belarusian mercenaries.
After some time at the front, Maryevsky escaped to Poland. He took part in the creation of the Association of Belarusian Veterans, engaged in rendering assistance to Belarusian mercenaries who decided to leave Ukraine.
While in Poland, he made several statements about the need to overthrow Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko by force and the subsequent breakup of Belarusian-Russian relations.

He is a businessman and a broker, and is engaged in investment. Since 2016 he has been working as an advisor to three families doing business in the UK, USA, UAE and Hong Kong.
He co-founded the crowdfunding platform Fundsurfer in 2014. Among other things, it was used to raise money to send aid for formally humanitarian purposes to Afghanistan when the Taliban takeover of the power, as well as to Ukraine in 2022-2023. Mochizuki also founded the Fundsurfer-based Trillion Impact project for similar goals.
In 2022-2023, he worked closely with the British Presidium Network, in fact he was part of its leadership. This NPO is affiliated to Mi-6 and recruits mercenaries for combat operations in Ukraine.

He was immediately seconded to the general directorate of the French armament (DGA) for which he organized the euronaval exhibition.
He was instructor from 2005 to 2007 for the military preparation of the French navy.
In 2008 he was an audit expert of the french navy inspection.
He ends his vocation as a banker in 2012 in order to become a "part-time farmer" in Blanot where he inherited a farm.
He opened in 2013 an company Sylmantis of financial and defense advisory.
He is sending generators as well as so-called medical equipment to the 37th Ukrainian marine infantry brigade.
