Going to have to run some tests after I get it, but thanks to people donating a couple bucks here and there over the last couple months I was able to grab a mid tier graphics card that is a significant upgrade from what I've been using which was like the bare minimum to do what I do.

Different platforms accept different resolutions and codecs for videos but if this works out the way I'm hoping it does instead of making 1280x720 videos like I have I might be able to do 4K videos instead. Either that or I'll be able to make the current videos I make now but way faster and without having to turn everything else on my computer off to do so, regardless....thanks to everyone that has chipped in so far whether that be through paypal or subscribestar.

I haven't had any major issues thus far aside from shadow banning but I'm going to look into hosting a website for ForkFaced next so that if censorship ever becomes an issue I can just host the videos there.

(I haven't thus far just because I don't want to be setting a couple hundred dollars a month on fire for bandwidth costs, when I can host them here and elsewhere for free) but if the issue ever arises and I'm getting regular support that can cover it, I'll make it happen. In the mean time I'll probably take the contributions I'm getting going forward and make a website but just host the videos on more "alternative" platforms. Then I could transition easier to fully hosting them in the future if circumstances change.

You might miss it as this is gonna be a wall of text so if you haven't seen it, I put out a video today up above this message. This is just an update on the card and the increase in quality for those of you that care about those details:

So, I got the new graphics card installed, no issues in terms of it running. Great performance increases all around in stable diffusion and video editing, haven't tried deepfakes yet but I assume it's the same, and I'll be able to do some cool stuff with animation in the future, unfortunately the workflow I used previously to make lip syncing for these videos isn't compatible with the new card (old code in the program doesn't support newer graphics cards, or that's my best guess and it never gets updated anymore). So I put the card I replaced in another computer I have from quite a few years ago and can still make videos as I used to using that instead.

That having been said, I do plan on finding a solution so I can use the new card. I just don't have an exact eta. I already spent a couple of hours tonight trying to get a new github project going that looks like it can do lip syncing even better than what I had previously and it is compatible with the new card, and although I'm above average with tech I'm not a programmer or anything so usually I can get stuff to work after some trial and error but with stuff on github it requires a bit of programming knowledge and it's a headache to setup until I figure it out but fortunately I'll only need to do it once.

Long story short, in addition to higher resolution videos, the actual lip syncing itself will look better, it'll just be a bit longer until it's all sorted.

My name is Ryan. I'm not Owen, I'm not Jimbob. I'm not hard to find as I promote my music projects and other stuff rarely here and there and if you want to know who I am it wouldn't be hard, but I prefer to keep myself out of ForkFaced as much as possible on a personal level just because I think it's funnier if it's just a voice impersonation and comedy rather than making it all about me as a person, I have plenty of other projects where I'm the "face" or a face of it. I often even debate if I should ever write text like I'm doing now for any reason and just stick to making videos, but sometimes I feel like it's needed.

So I'll just put it on the record now that I'm not interested, nor will I ever be interested being involved in any drama, if that's your thing cool, I'm just saying I'm not getting involved.

If you start seeing comments contradicting that from someone impersonating me, or some supposed convos I've had etc. it's not real.

This is how it is now, and will continue to be in the future. I can't control whether people accept that or not but I'm just laying it out now because I'm sure dumb shit like this will only increase as the page gets more popular.

Graphics card update for those of you that care.

I spent about 5 hours today with a bear who volunteered to spend his time to help out and get this going but it's been a total nightmare, one issue after the other. I'm really agitated right now and my brain is mush because I've been hyper focused on doing this.

I spent $350 of my own along with about $100 of ForkFaced contributions to get the new card so I'm pretty bummed out, first about it not working with the old lip syncing workflow and now the new one giving error after error after hours of troubleshooting. I really wanted to show you guys a significant upgrade in the video quality but I'm burned out for now.

The way AI moves there could be a one click program in a few months that does it and after today being a total headache I'm kinda of just throwing my hands up for the next few days.

Regardless the card will still be helpful as I can edit videos and in the future with stable diffusion and unreal engine and perhaps some other things will be able to do full blown animations that I wouldn't have been able to do on the old one so it's not a total loss and I'm sure a time will come where a program becomes available that I can use with the new card for lip syncing, but for the near future I'll just be making the same videos I've been making. I might come back with a fresh brain in a few days and get the new program going and if that happens I'll mention it (and you'll definitely see the improvements) but I just wanted to be transparent with all of you and wanted to let you know I did really give it my best shot to get things upgraded especially for those that contributed, again I really appreciate all the support.

I have been posting a lot of text here on telegram lately and I'm not sure what the ratio is of people who just want the videos and nothing else and those that don't mind posts like this, so for now I'm just gonna put videos out for the next little while. Today isn't in the cards due to all the b.s. and I'm mentally maxed out at the moment and not in a humerous mood, but I'll try to get something out to you guys in the next few days.

Got most things sorted. This isn't in potato quality like the last one at 256x256.

I should be able to do 4K Videos now like this one. There are some downsides to this software as you can only do still images and turn them into voiced videos but either some updates will come out, or I'll try to make my own custom workflow.

That having been said the visual quality is a lot higher as you can see.

Edit: Actually had to lower the resolution for telegram or you needed an external player for it. I guess I can only get away with 1080P on here until telegram gets an update.
