Gerrie Wachtmeester — Waiting Landscape

The ornate North Wall Portal of the Urnes Stave Church in Norway, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a prime example of the "Urnes style" of Viking art. Built in the 12th and 13th centuries, the Urnes Stave Church is considered one of the oldest and best-preserved stave churches in Norway, embodying traditional Scandinavian wooden architecture.
