A lot of people say Exit and Build strategies are nothing more than "escapism," "retreatism," or even "defeatism."

Their logic is that if you’re not doing politics or protesting, you’re not fighting.

Read my email from yesterday for my response to that.

The truth is, voting and protesting are EASY.

You don’t have to know anything or create anything or really do anything except show up and check some boxes or hold a sign.

Those engaged in exiting and building are doing the HARD WORK of making freedom happen - right now, in our lifetimes.

We’re not abdicating our responsibilities to crooked politicians.

We’re taking responsibility for our own lives, our own liberties, and our own future.

And we’re staying focused on our mission of achieving lasting liberty for generations by building freedom from the ground up (literally, in the form of intentional communities).

That’s what the Exit and Build Land Summit II is all about.

See, most people are in a reactive mindset.

They’re rocked back and forth by the waves of "what’s happening now."

Tragedy in Ukraine…

COVID idiocy…

Biden blunders…

Will Smith slapping Chris Rock…

And around and around they go, spinning on the never-ending carousel of the 24-hour news cycle intentionally designed to manipulate your emotions, confuse your mind, and keep you trapped on the ride without ever making any progress toward your goals or liberty.

The way out of this mess is through being PROACTIVE.

Be the captain of your own ship to cut a straight course through the noisy waves of nonessential news to your destination.

Block out the winds of blustering idiots nattering on about the latest gossip or scandal.

Stay on the path of freedom!

And put all of your energy and focus into building your way out of the corrupt system and into a system of liberty, peace, and voluntary cooperation.

That’s what we’re doing over here in the exit and build movement.

We’re not waiting for someone else to give us anything.

We’re out here experimenting and trying new things, new systems, new ways of organizing human society.

And we’re always accepting new members into this movement because we depend on the intelligence, creativity, ingenuity, and innovation of everyone involved in this grand project for freedom and political autonomy.

It all begins with the Exit and Build Summit II.

Derrick is a journalist and activist who has been promoting the intersection of individual healing and building new systems since 2011. Derrick's journalistic work is guided by his experiences in the spiritual world. He first began meditating while in prison for a felony drug possession in 2005. It was that experience that helped him begin his healing journey which precipitated his "waking up" experience.

Derrick has lead dozens of guided meditations, including several drumming meditations. The short presentation and meditation will encourage the listener to allow the drum to take them on a journey within their own heart and mind.

The new Freedom Cell Network site is coming later this month!

To prepare for these updates we have made some changes:

1. No new signups - there will be no new signups until we relaunch! Sign up for our waiting list on the Freedom Cells homepage!

2. We took a snapshot of the site on May 28th. Nothing taking place after that will be saved once we relaunch.

3. To fix a messaging bug we had to refresh the messages so there will be no message history when we relaunch!

4. New profile fields are going to be required for all members (your role, level of readiness, skills & resources...)
