Today was a good day.

My lovely lady cooked an awesome breakfast. Then my son and our buddy and fellow community memebr, Brad, did some gardening.

Also had a chance to work with Derrick and Ramiro on the new Freedom Cells site. It's gonna be super badass and really help in growing the network. Im really stoked about it. Be on the lookout for announcements about the relaunch.

The reason I'm writing is cuz I want to share a couple homesteading tips I thought of while working on the property today.

Here are the tips...

1. Start somewhere. Just start. Even if small. Don't get down on yourself.

2. Begin food production in Zone 1!

If you'd like to be featured on the Front Page of the new website then please send us your pictures. They can be pictures from your meetings, events, or your own personal photography.

Before sending in a picture, understand the following:

- We will choose only a few pictures
- Your pictures will be public to the internet
- Get consent from everyone in your picture
- Have rights to share the picture
- Make sure to uncheck 'compress' image on Telegram when you are uploading them.

As we prepare to launch The Freedom Cell Network website 2.0 we are going to be adminning the Telegram groups more strictly.

Cells on the website and cells on Telegram are expected to adhere to the 5 principles of the network:

- Decentralized
- Localized
- Apolitical
- Solutions-focused
- Non violent

Cells not adhering to these will be removed from our website, and on Telegram cells will be removed from our Directory and taken off the site.

If you want to use our site, cells, and benefit from our worldwide network - stick to these principles!

Derrick Broze here, checking in with a quick update on the NEW Freedom Cell Network website...

On August 1st, 2022, we are launching version 3.0 of The Freedom Cell Network website!

Right now you can sign up for the Freedom Cell email list on the website and get a new account on August 1st!

The new website is faster, easier to navigate, and we believe a much needed tool for connecting with your local community.

Before I tell you about the new features for the website, let me tell you how I came to be involved with the Freedom Cell Network.


In March 2015, I visited Brave New Books in Austin, Texas to hear my friend and huge influence, John Bush.

John gave a presentation on "The Central Texas Mutual Aid Society" and something he called Freedom Cells. 

I was familiar with the idea of mutual aid, the idea that we can stand together in solidarity with our neighbors and community members, and support each other in times of need.


John discussed the importance of mutual aid and building local, decentralized groups focused on building support networks.

The idea was that these Freedom Cells could grow exponentially and expand around the world to the point that we have the power to effectively opt out of governmental systems and create alternative systems which serve our needs and values.

I know it's radical idea, but I was 100% certain it could work. I took my inspiration and ran back to Houston to begin building my own Freedom Cells.

Around 2016, I worked with some activists to create the first version of a Freedom Cells website. This showed us the possibility for using a social network to encourage local connections.

However, it wasn't until 2019 that the 2nd version of The Freedom Cells website launched. Shortly after Ramiro Romani joined the team and began making regular updates to the site.

Now - thanks to everyone who donated to our crowdfunding campaign during The Greater Reset 3 in January - we are preparing to launch version 3.0 of The Freedom Cell Network!

I promise you, this is the best version of this concept and the platform yet. You will not be disappointed! 

So here are some of the new features:

Translations - In order for the FC Network to continue expansion worldwide we need to have a website that reflects the diversity of our community. This means more languages. We are starting with Spanish, German, Portuguese, and Dutch. We will add more over time!

Brand New Design/Feel - We have upgraded the site to a cleaner look and easier navigation! This includes renamed menus and a redesigned profile with new options including "Roles", and "Readiness Level" where you can indicate if you are willing to meet in person or not.

Marketplace - This is one of the features we are most excited about! Users will have the opportunity to list services, products, and even dating ads to find love in the Freedom Cell Network!

Advanced Search on Maps - Not only will you have the ability to search the member and cell maps for people close to you, but now you will be able to search specifically for people who are ready to meet in person, or people looking for land, or selling land!

Timeline - By far, one of the biggest complaints we have heard is that removing the timeline was not helpful. We hear you. So the timeline is coming back for the new site!

There is so much more about this site that we think you are going to love. Please stay tuned to the website on August 1st and check out the new features on your profile!
