trove also seems off, their founder has been doxxed since pre-raise. i initially avoided their seed bc friends told me their team is flexxing with RMs and APs in Singapore at events. Even though they are publicly doxxed they choose to do Iranian burner TGs & resold X accounts

i actually think this is much more of a scapegoating thing rn, you dont spawn onto CT with a freshly generated x account with the motion to onboard a lot of credible people (swensonbenson etc) to rock your badge

also noone spawns here and gets $20m from an LP

imo it's some highly organised group who will do this again every few months with slight iteration each time, this has been one of the most sophisticated scams i've seen in a long while.

good thing to pay attention to details

here's a bot that would have signalled to you that the account is recycled and the operation is most likely fraudulent / associated with cybercriminals
