So the thing about Ned Stark is he remained (labelled) as a traitor in both shows and books, he was never pardoned, he falsely claimed himself as one to save his daughter, and that's two generations of Starks dying at Kingslanding, starting a rebellion in both scenarios

What would've happened if Jon took the throne, but Daenerys didn't go mad

I've always been curious about the scenario of Jon actually revealing to the world that he's Rhaegar's son which would give him the throne by right.

For the sake of argument Daenerys doesn't go mad......... where does that leave her in Westeros? Is there a position or noscript in the seven kingdoms that she can still claim? Or would it be better for her to just go back to Essos?
