What if game of thrones started with Robert’s rebellion?

If the show started with rovers rebellion and later transitioned into the same story we know Would it better better or worse?

I think it would actually work pretty well because now ned and Robert are main characters for far longer, although their deaths may be a bit weird being later in the show. Could see some interesting stuff with danerys and the targarians, not sure about Jon though

This guy always seemed to be the devil on Theon's shoulder advising him to do the worst desicions. I wonder what his fate was

Book accurate Throne

Varys stood before it. Repeating in his mind the story of how it was made, thousands of blades of Aegon's enemy, forged together into one large, jagged, monstrous pedestal. It wasn't made for comfort, fifteen steps high, full of sharp edges poking out and tilted. One wrong step and we would have to plan a coronation ceremony at spet. It was a symbol, the biggest of them all. But Varys saw it as what it represented, seven kingdoms forged together by fire. The realm, the people and their traditions all depended on this distant seat. He always found it unnatural, how can a room so empty and large, full of thousands of blades and power, be so quiet. His hands tucked away in robe, eyes glinted the shadows of blades and mind–

That, and whoever it belongs to gets to decide the fate of a whole continent. That man doesn't even know half of lords let alone everyone in the realm. Just because Dragons forged together seven kingdoms doesn't mean seven kingdoms like to be together. Dragons are gone now, how long before chaos? A gaping pit. How long before it consumes the realm? How long before one lordling makes a stupid decision? Fire and blood held the realm, fire has gone now and blood is weakened. King, a man consumed by his obsession. Not a suitable man, certainly not suitable to hold power of deciding the fate of the realm. It needs a new and sane ruler. Someone smart, prophetic, and not reeking of filth and smoke.

He kept staring back at it, until his neck ached. He had seen it multiple times, yet each time it became more grotesque. The room echoed with boots stomping the stone. As he looked over his shoulder, the guards were back at their post. The silk swept the stone. Gathering rot of the room as he walked to the entrance. Each step hurried. His back at the throne and the room echoed his steps. He walked out of the room. Before the blades could reach him. But the room stayed as it was, empty, still and containing thousand blades who'd rather not be together.

Robb stark about to capture the rock!!

3x9, This scene gives me real chill, the way lannisters are strong. I cant wait to see robb stark capturing the rock and tywin lannister getting humilated. I am really eager to this see tywin ego getting crushed. Lets see how many more episodes i will have to wait. HOUSE STARK!!👑

Geniune question

What did they do all day?? I mean sure things happened, let's say you are member of council, what does your day look like? I mean major events did happened but they happened too far apart, and sure they have paper work and letters and other stuff to do. But I i am asking if they did normal people stuff, like going for a walk, or talking to their buddies etc etc, do you think they did that? Or they never even go out of red keep for months ?? What do you reckon they did in their free time?

Rewatching after years… I forgot how lonely Jon Snow feels as a character.

Just started my first full rewatch and it hit different this time.

Jon isn’t tragic because of what happens to him. He’s tragic because of how isolated he always is. Even when he’s surrounded by people who love him, he never really feels like he belongs anywhere. Even when he becomes someone important… he still walks around like he’s carrying a weight no one else can see. I didn’t catch that at first. Now it kinda hurts.

Say what you will but my favorite thing about season 8 was seeing this character thrive and end up happily. I feel she get hated on more than the actual villains of the show.

Why was east of Essos never mapped?

I can understand people couldn't map west of westros because there exists a vast sea/ocean in west of westros, but why east of Essos isn't getting mapped? Isn't Melisandre is from Asshai? If people can travel from Asshai to Westros, what is preventing them from exploring further east? Just like the wall in the north, which prevents people from exploring further up in the north is there anything beyond east which makes them not possible to explore further?

I know many fans hated that she was the one who killed him but I personally loved it. I got so excited when she appeared but then I was afraid she was going to die on his hand too for a moment.

Why did Balon Greyjoy think that the other major Lords wouldn't support Robert when the Ironborn revolted?
