Note from a sub moderator

Hi everyone,

I was one of the most active mods on this sub for a while but have had some time out from moderating due to less time on reddit. I’m back now though and have seen a bit of a backlog with mod mail messages and other things.

Firstly, apologies for the backlog for anyone who reached out to us. If you sent a message and didn’t get a reply but are still interested in the conversation please bump the message and I will respond.

Secondly, please do your best to keep the sub in a good place so our workload doesn’t become unmanageable. There are nearly 4 million sub members after all. The most common reasons we remove posts are Title Spoilers, Low Effort Content and just general abusive behaviour for comments. Please play your part in making the sub a good place for all and don’t have noscript spoilers, ensure your posts have a good amount of content which isn’t just reposting an old image or something and make sure you are respectful to each other.

Dragons outside of walls?

In the books it's pretty much known that dragon refused to cross the wall and go out, I think It was queen Alysanne Targaryen. She flew to north and they visited wall her dragon Silverwing refused to cross it even when she ordered the creature multiple times. So what could be reason? I know magic creature and magic wall blah blah but how will martin explain it. And ofcourse i don't think jon and others will go over wall to capture the dead as proof

Is it better to read or listen to GOTs

I really wanna read the books but I have ADHD and listening is easier but you guys mentioned the audio book narrarator is awful which I can not listen to a book if the narrarator is shit. So my question is, is it that bad?
