Master illyrios motive?
Do they ever explain why Master Illyrio wanted the Targarians back on the throne? He spends a heck of a lot of money on those two not to mention the risk and headache of keeping them safe from assasins. But they never really say why? Unless i missed something.

Ned's first day in King's Landing...
... was truly insane and if I was him, I would've not survived it!!
1) Jaime waiting for him in the throne room just to tell him "heeehee I was standing here and heard the screams of your father while he was burned alive ❤️" - Iwould've SWUNG at him!! Would he have killed me? Absolutely!! But I could have not let that slide. (tbf, Ned did verbally kill Jaime at least and hit a sensitive spot, too)
2) He goes into the council and meets Baelish who immediately tells him that he wants to fuck his wife. Not "Catelyn Tully was a woman worth fighting for" but "Catelyn Tully IS a woman worth fighting for" present tense & adding "Wouldn't you agree?" TO HER HUSBAND'S FACE. Ned's patience is unmatched because I would have jumped across the table and rocked his shit.
3) Arya and Sansa are fighting and he does not know what to do. His lack of ability to conjure a fitting response when Arya asks him why he would let Sansa marry someone like Joffrey is taking me out.
Rewatching just makes me realize again how much I love Ned and how perfect is actor is... He was my favorite when I first watched the show and the ending of Season 1 crushed me lol. :(

Why did high septon wrote in his private diary that he anulled rhaegar’s marriage to ellia even though rheagar wanted to keep it a secret & moreover why didn’t bran already looked that up and waiting till sam told him?
If bran would have seen that already, which should have been quite obvious and easy, the north would have been better prepared for Jamie, eh?
