If that 'Tarly boy', presumably Sam's Uncle or second cousin, had been successful. Would Stannis have taken over the Stormlands forces or would they have bent the knee?

For the Book Readers - Name your favorite(or least favorite) castings on the show
My Favorite Casting Choices:
* Charles Dance as Tywin Lannister - Charles perfectly captures the righteous arrogance of Tywin. Sprinkling in just the right amount of smugness mixed with regality.
* David Bradley as Walder Frey - This is probably my pick for all around perfect casting. When reading through the chapters related to Walder(Catelyn's mostly, I believe) it's impossible not to read Walder's lines in David Bradley's voice. He absolutely nailed it.
* Aidan Gillen as Peter Baelish - He pulled off that crooked half-smile so damn well.
I think that they really struck gold with the cast across the board. My biggest complaint really would be the ages of some of the characters. I know that it's probably difficult to find child actors for stuff like this(or in the case of Daenerys, you don't want to make it creepy and weird.) But sometimes the age or physical appearance of a character is a huge part of who they are.
For example, Richard Madden turned in a terrific performance as Robb Stark. But a big part of who Robb Stark is in the books is that he is a "boy." A literal child. So when he outwits Tywin Lannister, it adds an extra layer of embarrassment. However, Richard Madden was in his mid 20's while playing Robb and, you do kind of lose that whole "Young Wolf" angle a bit.

If Daemon Targaryen were brought into the Game of Thrones era, what level of warrior would he be?

Could any armed warrior in the Seven Kingdoms realistically beat an unarmed Wun Wun in a 1v1?
