I’ve never seen Game of Thrones in my life
I decided to finally sit down and watch it. I just got through the end of season three, which means I finally know after over a decade and a half what the red wedding means…
I’m absolutely blown away, my only regret is that I didn’t watch it at the time and could have been a part of this huge cultural event. I am blown away now, but I can only imagine how it would feel seeing it for the first time when everyone was seeing it for the first time…

If Jon never left winterfell
If Jon Snow never joined the night's watch and stayed in winterfell when Ned left to King's Landing would this completely shift the course of the war post Ned's execution?
What do you all think? If Jon marched with Rob, would he die at the red wedding too? Or do you believe Jon could influence the war enough to actually make it to King's Landing?

Who would have fared better: Jon in Robb's position during Seasons 2 and 3 with the Freys, or Robb in Jon's position during Seasons 6 and 7, circa Battle of the Bastards and the Long Night?
Who do you think would have handled these switched positions better:
Jon, taking Robb's position shortly after the capture of Jaime Lannister, dealing with the Karstarks, the Frey's wedding ultimatum
Robb, taking Jon's position shortly after being resurrected, the trust of the Wildlings already earned, confronting Ramsey, negotiating with Daenerys and confronting the Long Night

"The thing missing from Game of Thrones is a good soundtrack"
From a housemate I'm doing a watch through with. Please advise on how to dispose of his body.

Early seasons were SO good!
Having seen and slogged through the final season a good while back.
I finally started a full rewatch.
S1 is absolutely brilliant 🌟🌟
Great to relive the original thrill after all the years.
Sean Bean was just perfectly cast, all the ensemble have excellent taut dialogue and no scene feels unnecessary throughout. Falling in love with GoT all over again is a great feeling I must say.... ❤️😊

You are just crowned king of Westeros. How are you choosing as your small council
you can choose anyone who lived after Robert's rebellion.
dont necessarily have to concede with the canon. for eg you can have Jon Arryn and Samwell Tarly in the council at the same time.
my council would be;
Varys: master of whisperers
Balon Greyjoy: master of ships
Tywin Lannister: master of coins
~~Robert Baratheon (before he become a drunken man): lord commander of kings guard~~
Just remembered that there is no way robert would take kingsguard oath so instead i am choosing jamie lannister
Master Aemon: grand maester
Ned Stark: master of laws
Tyrion Lannister: hand of the King
