How did Craster work out his deal with The Others / The "White Walkers"?
So the implication is that he trades his newborn sons to The Others in exchange for not being attacked.
But how did it start? Did he initiate it? Did he inherit the situation (learned it from his father / older wildlings)? Did he stumble upon it by trail and error? Or some othre custom or pattern of offerings from The North?
I read the books years ago but don't recall any details that answer these questions. So I ask you: what do you think?

What would Ned Stark do if he were swapped with Robb in the War of the Five Kings?
I know Ned would never break the Frey marriage pact cos that feels 100% in character.
But I’m unsure about the Karstark situation. Robb executes him for killing the Lannister boys and basically cripples his army. Would Ned really swing the sword there, or try exile, hostage-taking, or something else?
Interested in how people think Ned balances honor vs keeping the North united in a war.

How did Tywin and King Robert act around each other?
Tywin Lannister is a man that commanded respect from everyone is whatever room he was in, even from kings, however, we never see him share a scene with Robert Barateheon, an older, more self confident king than his "sons" that succeeded him. He was also a man that showed respect to very few people and those he did seemed to be based on his personal history with them as opposed to their power and influence. How would Robert and Tywin have interacted with each other when they met? As they must have done from time to time.

House Tully done dirty?
So I preface this by saying I’ve seen the show and am almost done a clash of kings so this could change. I feel like house Tully and the river lands were made to look weak in the show. They definitely made Edmure look like a moron. But Edmure and the lords of the river lands fought back the Lannister army and kept them at bay.
The show never show Hoster Tully win he’s dying like the books. I wish they had shown how bad ass the Blackfish is like in the books.
If I need to keep reading just let me know that’s my hot take for where I am.

Which season finale is better in your opinion: Season 4's "The Children" or Season 6's "The Winds of Winter"?
On one hand, you have Season 4's "The Children." Tyrion's confrontation with Tywin, Brienne and The Hound's brutal fight, Arya sailing to Braavos and many other things
On the other, there's Season 6's "The Winds of Winter." This one is a pure, cinematic adrenaline rush. The opening sequence with the Sept of Baelor is one of the best-directed scene in the entire show.
We get the new king in the North, Cersei's ruthless takeover, Daenerys finally setting sail, and the truth about Jon's birth. Even though storylines were concluded perfectly some of them weren't that good to begin with. I personally never liked high sparrow and Arya storylines but conclusions to them were very satisfying
