Starting again for the 8th(?) time, roommate's 1st. Nothing will ever diminish the first 4 seasons for me.

A few GoT questions I can’t stop thinking about
Hello all
Been thinking about a couple of GoT / ASOIAF questions and wanted to hear what others think:
* If Stannis somehow knew Jon Snow was a Targaryen, would Stannis still push his own claim, or would his obsession with legitimacy force him to back Jon?
* Do you think Arya actually survived Braavos, or is there *any* chance the Waif returned to Westeros wearing her face? props to [xwhy](https://www.reddit.com/user/xwhy/)
* Is bran dead already and has been taken by the three eyed raven? Props to redditor [nayryanaryn](https://www.reddit.com/user/nayryanaryn/)
* Jon forgave Houses Karstark and Mormont after the Battle of the Bastards. But if a Bolton heir survived and bent the knee, would Jon do the same for House Bolton?
* And lastly… what do you honestly think is the real reason GRRM hasn’t released *The Winds of Winter* yet?
Interested to hear different takes.

How are the Stark children connected to the dire wolves?
So I watched the series in the process of reading it, on the first book. But I never really got how the wolves are connected to the children, and why Bran woke up at the exact Second Lady was killed.

What would of happened if Jaime would have been Tyrions champion in the fight against the Mountain?
Would Tywin have allowed it? Would he have killed the Mountain if he would have killed Jaime?

What was the Lannister’s plan to hold power when Joffrey’s children ascended?
In name he’s a Baratheon. What ties can they draw to the crown in the long term? Surely Tywin had some sort of plan to get a Lannister in name on the Throne.
