Rewatching and forming an opinion on the Starks

I’ve seen this show maybe 4 times and besides the first watch, I’m noticing the Starks helped create a lot of their problems. They are my favorite house, but definitely not innocent in some of their fate. For instance:

Cat taking Tyrion as prisoner, Ned Stark unable to keep his mouth shut about Cersi and Jamie’s children, Robb unable to uphold his promise to marry one of Walder Frey’s daughters, Cat releasing Jamie without telling Robb. I’m probably missing a few as I’m only halfway through season 2 of my rewatch.

Does anyone feel the same? Most people I know who have watched are so team Stark they only see them as victims and not adding fuel to the fire.

I'm late to the show, so forgive me if it's been asked, but did the revelation of Jon being Aegon Targaryen mean really anything for the show?

It just seems like things would've turned out exactly the same had he just been Jon Snow. I can't think of a single interaction, aside from a couple of mild arguments between Jon and Daenerys, that would've played out differently. I guess maybe Varys wouldn't have been turned into ash, but I guess that's the extent of it.

Would Jon Snow…

Have stayed with Dany as a lover or just a loyal servant had she not lost her mind and burned King’s Landing or vowed to continue liberating the world? Say she was successful in becoming queen of the 7 kingdoms and did it honorably, do y’all think Jon would have continued to be her lover or was he already too weirded out by her being his aunt and he’d just remain a loyal leader of her armies? He kept saying “you’ll always be my queen” but I get the sense he wasn’t sure he wanted to continue bedding her. Thoughts?

How come when Tywin thought that Catelyn had taken Tyrion to the North he raised his banners and began pillaging the Riverlands, but when he finds out she actually took him the the Vale and had him imprisoned there, he does nothing in retribution?
