Rewatching for like idk the 8th time. And something is bothering me

How did Dany live the bonfire? Yea fire can’t hurt her, that’s fine, but what about oxygen? She sat in the middle of the fire for hours. She also survived burning the elders later in the show. Does her dragon blood help with oxygen consumption or not needing a lot of it?

The Hound

I’ve read the books a couple of times, I’ve watched the show way too many times, and the Hound is the best character. Yes there are cooler book characters and more classically trained professional actors in the show, but the hound is just so damn cool. The actor took the role and ran with it. When I read the books I see the actor and hear his voice. Just such a good job all around.

I recently finished Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and Suits (shows that I binge watched, I just watch recent shows as they release). Was thinking of hoping on either GOT or the Office. Hello,

I just finished the show for the first time, and loved every second of it (never read the books tho but now really want to).

I've never been on this sub, but I've always heard the ending was not really liked here.

Without talking about the books, why didn't you guys like the ending ? I really liked it so I feel like must've missed something !

Help settle debate

Me and my dad had a disagreement the other day. Now, he watched the show a few years before me and neither of us have read the books. He says viewers didn't know white walkers were a big deal early on. I said "How? They were literally the opening scene of the show" and then the conversation kind of turned into a literature debate on storytelling and foreshadowing lmao. So, did you guys that hadn't read the books know that white walkers were going to be a pivotal part of the show?

Only thing Season 8 got right

I’m on my 2nd rewatch and got to Season 8. Braced for cringe. It’s so bad.

But episode 2… everyone settling in before the Long Night.

Idk. The vibe of the episode was just exactly what it should have been. The stakes felt high. The fear and anxiety was so tangible.

For as much as I dislike season 8, I really enjoyed the 2nd episode each time I watched it.
