In George R.R Martin's original noscripts, he had intended Jon Snow to be in an incestuous relationship with Arya, not Daenerys

This conversation between Beric Dondarrion and Jon Snow was genuinely thoughtful and profound.

I am loving the tone of “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms”
Does anyone else feel that it is something akin to the lord of the rings?
It feels like Duncan is a positive example of breaking generational trauma and positive masculinity. Almost like Guts from Berserk but with a childlike view of the beauty in the world and a love for the little things.
He isn’t like other characters in the GOT world. He isn’t motivated by his generational legend or his prophetic sighted siblings nor is he sent on any kind of epic quest to avoid or even partake in danger.
Everything Duncan does is of his own accord, he stumbles into a lords tent because he’s hungry. He takes Egg as his squire because he knows what it is to be an orphan and lonely. He’s both.
No one pays Duncan any mind unless it’s to give him trouble which is a refreshing change from the normal “yeah you’re messing with me now but wait until you see how good I am with a sword” like you get with Aemond Targaryen or John Snow or Daemon Targaryen for that matter.
Duncan is tall, that’s another thing the show doesn’t let you forget it. See that person? There is a whole head of distance between them and Duncan
How does Duncan sleep being so tall? No blanket.
How does Duncan walk through doors? Barely
Anyway apologies for the long post I just wanted to say I’m really enjoying things so far. Especially how lighthearted they are.
It doesn’t feel like the typical AMC (you know that character you like? Well here is a horrific way to go! Oh and here is two minutes of women’s breasts)
This show has nudity but it feels more like an accessory than something up front like artistic nudity in a portrait or like in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (something this show heavily reminds me of BTW)
Furthermore BRAVO VINCE

Do you think Ned would have ever told Benjen about Jon’s true parentage? I don’t know why, but to me, it seems like he always knew but never said.

A man so greedy and unhinged that he himself admitted he would kill infant babies for money did NOT deserve to live till the end, and definitely didn't deserve to become whatever he became in the end.

I’ve never watched Game of Thrones or House of Dragon. This show seems interesting, but is it watchable without having seen the other shows?
