While the US supreme court is feverishly posting cringe on general, there are some actual good news from Czechia:
1) After five years of trying, the law proposing the equality of marriage wasn't just thrown out of the courts at the first notice. Not it has to spend 4 mounths in constitutional and family committees and still can be axed, but that's at least some progress. Plus, Peter Pavel while being a proud war crime defender announced that he will sign the law if it passes the legislature.
2) There was a proposal from the Ministry of Interior to finally remove the shameful requirement of surgical sterilization for trans people who wish to change their legal gender. We still need it to go through the parliament but that's a chance.

It is interesting to note how the media portrayed the aftermath of this events and the previous one where the victims were israeli.
The israelis were shown in mourning, while about the palestinians the focus was on their sentiment of revenge (and note that the linked act was actually an israeli "revenge").
This can be generalized as Israel is always the one "defending itself" while Palestnians are usually depicted as terrorist-inclined.

Certainly if we stick to a trivial and superficial interpretation, this might appear the case, but if we act rationally, make some questions to ourselves and dig a bit more into it, the reality shown by the media begins to crumble.
It is obvious that a nation whose right of self determination is denied, whose children are murdered while the world stays silent, whose land is slowly being taken away bit by bit will recur to violence.
(Now of course terrorism is to condemn as it not only targets innocents but is also a quite useless political tool).
The narrative that Palestinians are inclined to bomb people because it is somewhat their hobby while Israel is always and anyways defending itself needs to stop; do my fellow countrymen remember how Italy got independence from all the foreign powers? We were no less violent than the Palestinians. And the same can be said for many other countries, in fact the struggle of the Palestinians was once also our struggle. Then why do we turn away from them and silently approve Israel's aggression?
