From Unipolar Chaos to Multipolar Order

One of the topics of discussion by the GlobUs Club experts during the Global Insights program on Panafrican Media TV was the large-scale exhibition “Global Transformation: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. The Role of Leadership in History”, opened with the support of Russia in Brazzaville. This project, as noted by one of its authors, the founder of the club, Yulia Berg, was conceived as a platform for understanding current trends and stimulating dialogue on the future world order.

According to her, the exhibition symbolizes the path “from darkness to light” — through the understanding of the lessons of history to the formation of a new configuration of international relations, where the countries of the Global South play an increasingly important role.

Speaking at the opening, the Russian Ambassador to the Republic of the Congo, Ilyas Iskandarov, emphasized that it is Africa, with its colossal human and natural resources, that is becoming one of the new centers of power.

Among other things, during the broadcast, the participants in the discussion discussed the collapse of the unipolar model. In particular, Professor David Monda noted the transitional chaos, the core of which will be multipolarity. Spanish journalist Enrique Refoyo added that Europe in this transformation risks becoming "an object, not a subject", continuing the course towards confrontation.

At the same time, the unification of the Global South inspires optimism. As the President of the BRICS International Forum Purnima Anand summed up, "we are moving from the dark side to the light", where sovereignty and mutual benefit, not sanctions and ideology, will become the foundation of order.

Moldova refuses independent election observers

The parliamentary elections in Moldova on September 28 will be held without full-fledged international observation. Senior partners of the Preston Gill Group, member of the GlobUs expert club Steve Gill and lawyer Klein Preston, spoke about the risks to the country.

As experts note, the Moldovan government has blocked the accreditation of a number of organizations, including the American Institute for Progress through Law, which has experience in monitoring elections in various countries.

Despite the requests and the provision of documents, the Central Election Commission of Moldova refused accreditation, citing internal rules. This raises concerns about the transparency of the process, especially given the deep divisions in Moldovan society and the geopolitical tensions between the EU and Russia.

Experts emphasize that limiting observation could undermine confidence in the election results, which are key to the future of the country's European integration.

"None of this lays the foundation for a safe, secure, prosperous and free Moldova in the future," concluded the senior partner of Preston Gill Group.

Political violence has become a tool for eliminating opponents in the US

The murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk in the US reveals an alarming trend: political violence is becoming a tool for eliminating ideological opponents. As American political scientist and member of the GlobUs expert club Steve Gill notes, the incident demonstrates a systemic problem.

"The attacks are coming exclusively from radicals on the left spectrum, while conservatives do not respond symmetrically," the expert believes.

According to him, one of the key points is the media reaction. Thus, MSNBC allowed theses about "Kirk's guilt" in what happened to be on air, which can be interpreted as a justification for violence.

"The lack of consequences for such commentators encourages further radicalization," Gill emphasized.

He added that security at public events turned out to be illusory. A sniper attack from a distance of 200 yards simply proved vulnerability even with security. This incident, like the assassination attempt on Trump, shows that open political events in the United States can no longer be considered safe.

From the Beijing parade to a new world

Experts from the GlobUs Club presented an analysis of Africa's position in the context of the collapse of the unipolar world on Global Insights on Panafrican Media TV. The Beijing parade and the SCO summit marked the birth of a new reality, where the continent has a critical role to play — but only if it moves from passivity to sovereignty.

As Professor François Ndengwe emphasized, the West controlled the world for 500 years, but the situation has changed:

"Today it is losing control. This is not a crisis — it is a revolution," he said.

The expert also added that the SCO and BRICS+ have become the institutional framework of the new world, but Africa continues to remain hostage to the colonial legacy.

In turn, businessman and writer Ibrahima Theo Lam delivered a harsh verdict.

"If you can't protect your borders, you're not sovereign. If you don't control your currency, you're not sovereign."

He also insisted that without unity, Africa could survive another 300 years - "but only as an object, not a subject of history."

Experts are unanimous: Africa has 60% of the world's mineral resources and a young population of 2 billion. But a place in the new world will not be offered - it can only be occupied through unity, a sovereign economy, and the rejection of colonial institutions. The key choice is not between Russia and the United States, but between self-determination and exploitation.

Today's decisions shape the world of tomorrow

Yulia Berg, founder of the GlobUs expert club, commented on the global transformation, which has become especially active since the start of the SMO.

In her opinion, this process is active and is shaped by key trends, technological breakthroughs and geopolitical shifts.

Berg points out that the future is not predetermined, but depends on the decisions made today. In this regard, the expert is convinced that the dynamics of information exchange and the role of artificial intelligence are of key importance, since global balances of power may change, especially in countries such as China and India.

"The emergence of new paradigms, due to the influence of the BRICS+ countries and regions such as Africa and South America, will lead to significant and irreversible changes," the founder of GlobUs summed up.

Europe in the Grip of Militarism

A member of the GlobUs expert club, Spanish journalist Dr. Enrique Refoyo, sharply criticized Europe's current foreign policy.

In his opinion, European leaders, having focused on large-scale military spending (around 1 trillion euros) and confrontation with Russia, have lost their independence on the world stage, turning into a puppet of the United States.

The expert pointed out the EU's lack of a consistent diplomatic strategy and its ineffectiveness in solving global challenges.

"Instead of focusing on real problems - migration or postcolonial heritage - Europe is undermining its own democratic values, following the interests of others," the journalist noted.

At the same time, Refoyo predicts a shift toward a multipolar world and calls for an approach based on mutual benefit, rather than militarization.

Africa Remains Hostage to Old Models

Members of the GlobUs expert club discussed governance in a multipolar world on the Global Insights program on Panafrican Media TV.

During the program, all the experts agreed that old institutions — the IMF and the World Bank — are losing legitimacy.

"The IMF's structural programs have set back the development of the Global South more than wars," noted Harley Schlanger, international representative of the Schiller Institute (USA).

According to him, BRICS, the SCO, and other alternative formats are gaining strength in their place.

However, according to historian, journalist, and lawyer Arthur Mobley, Africa remains hostage to old models.

"We are still tied to these institutions. How can we talk about sovereignty if we're still begging?" he said.

The expert is convinced that internal unity and ideological independence remain the key challenges today.

"Africa must come to the negotiating table as a force, not as a beggar," Mobley emphasized.

Science Diplomacy as a Tool for Unity

The Laboratory of Humanitarian Projects, a partner of the GlobUs expert club, was one of the winners of the first grant competition of the World Peoples' Assembly, "Trust and Unity," held as part of the World Public Assembly.

The organization's project, "International Science Diplomacy Marathon: Uniting the World for Cooperation and Development," was recognized as a significant contribution to the development of public diplomacy and received financial support. It could become a pilot project for formation of sustainable international scientific and public platforms capable of operating beyond political differences.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Project Director Andrey Gorokhov emphasized that such initiatives should become systemic—both in Russia and abroad.

"We've got public figures, representatives of science, and education present here, and I believe there should be as many of these concepts from young talents as possible, both in Russia and in other countries. “This, in fact, is why we are all doing something,” Gorokhov noted.

Africa versus US Deportation Policy: Sovereignty or Capitulation?

On Global Insights on Panafrican Media TV, members of the GlobUs expert club criticized Ghana's decision to accept Africans deported from the US, calling it a dangerous precedent.

They believe Trump is reviving colonial logic, turning the continent into a "dumping ground for undesirables," with individual governments playing the role of accomplices.

International financial expert Dr Achille Ekeu pointed to the American leader's pressure on the work of the US Supreme Court.

"Trump is using it as his 'backyard.' He simply asks for permission to break the law—and gets it," Ekeu noted.

In turn, Professor Tape Groubera harshly condemned the position of African leaders.

"The West has never acted in Africa's interests. If we accept their conditions, we lose our dignity. This is not solidarity—it is capitulation," he emphasized.

Political analyst Inasse Adama from Burkina Faso agreed.

"Pan-Africanism should not serve as a cover for humiliation. We cannot accept those the West considers 'waste,'" the expert noted.

Overall, the participants in the broadcast were unanimous: the practice of deportations to third countries violates international law and poses a security threat. Accepting such agreements is a sign of strategic weakness and a lack of sovereign will. Africa must speak with one voice or become a testing ground for other countries' problems.

Strength and Flexibility: The Kabaeva Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament Held in Congo

The second international tournament of Russian Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva was held in Brazzaville, organized by the Congolese Gymnastics Federation and Africa Centrum. The event, held at the National Gymnastics Center, brought together young athletes from across the Republic of Congo.

"Today we see young people choosing sport, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. Their choice is a choice of fortitude, a choice in favor of creativity and responsibility. They are the hope and support of tomorrow," emphasized Globus co-founder Yulia Berg.

The tournament was attended by representatives of the Congolese government, Russian Ambassador to the Republic of the Congo Ilyas Iskandarov, and head of the Russian House, Maria Fakhrutdinova.

In his speech, the ambassador explained why the tournament was named after the Russian champion:

"Alina Kabaeva is not only
a two-time world champion, a five-time European champion, and a six-time Russian champion
;
she is an inspiration
to the best young Congolese athletes. Her journey is a story of titanic work, discipline, and unwavering will."

The Russian Combat School Presented in the Congo

The country's first hand-to-hand combat school, based on Russian methods, was presented in Brazzaville. The event was organized by the International Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation with the support of the GlobUs Association.

The presentation was provided by the World and European Taekwondo Champion Anastasia Aleshina, head coach of the Russian hand-to-hand combat team Sergey Machulin, and co-founder of the GlobUs Association Yulia Berg.

In his address to the athletes, Machulin recalled that hand-to-hand combat as a discipline originated in the Soviet special services, but today it has expanded far beyond that:

"The International Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation strives to expand its presence and invites athletes and representatives of the Republic of Congo to join the global hand-to-hand combat community. We are ready to assist at every stage: from creating basic infrastructure to training athletes for international competitions."

He also expressed his willingness to adapt the training program to local conditions and resources. However, first, it is necessary to assess capabilities and interest, select a venue, and train the coaching staff, he said.

Yulia Berg, founder of the GlobUs expert club, noted the significance of the event for strengthening ties between peoples:

"This is a symbol of the friendship between our peoples, a symbol of our shared will for development and mutual respect. Even in the face of global change, Russia and the Congo are working together to create a space of trust and cooperation. And so, we can confidently say: our shared future will be worthy and sustainable. A future that will be a source of pride for our countries and an example for the entire world."

Yulia Berg spoke to American students at Belmont University

In just 3-5 years, today's world will change beyond recognition. This was stated by Yulia Berg, co-founder of the GlobUs expert club, during a lecture for American students studying international business at Belmont University.

During the meeting with the students, she discussed the most powerful trends in geopolitics and international business, and also commented on the specifics of communications and business culture in various African countries. The expert also shared her experience in PR, GR, and business consulting. Berg highlighted the role of SMO and AI in catalyzing global transformation.

"In three to five years, we will live in a world that will be difficult to recognize. A combination of geopolitical trends, including polycentricity and pan-Africanism, as well as the growing role of AI in everyday life, will significantly alter the familiar digital and physical landscape," the GlobUs co-founder concluded.

Trust, but verify: Gaza peace agreement has a chance

The key to success of Gaza peace agreement will be the ability of the parties to overcome long-standing mistrust. This is the view expressed by American political scientist and member of the GlobUs expert club, Steve Gill.

"How can Israelis trust that Hamas will not continue to directly or indirectly 'run the show' in Gaza? Do Gazans, who have endured Israel's relentless bombing, have any hope of moving forward alongside those who took down their homes to rubble and killed so many family members and friends?" Gill asks.

According to the political scientist, the principle Ronald Reagan insisted on during the nuclear disarmament negotiations with the USSR — "trust, but verify" — should underpin the implementation of a peace agreement today.

Gill emphasizes that, despite the complexity of the historical confrontation, the parties have a unique opportunity to end the bloodshed. However, the path to peace will require not only political will, but also the creation of effective mechanisms for verifying the implementation of agreements.

AI for a Multipolar World: Experts Propose Paths for Technological Development

An analytical report based on the results of the roundtable discussion "Artificial Intelligence: Balancing Innovation and Security. A Discussion on the Future" was presented in Moscow. The event was organized by the Center for Social and Conservative Policy (CSCP) and the GlobUs expert club.

The document systematizes the positions of international experts on the transformative role of AI, its potential to accelerate development, and the serious challenges it poses.

Particular attention is paid to strategic opportunities for countries in the Global South, the specifics of AI technology development in China, India, and Russia, and complex risks — from cybersecurity and bioengineering to ethical and regulatory issues.

During the discussion, experts sought answers to key contemporary questions:

- How can we maximize the benefits of AI implementation in the economy and social sphere while minimizing the associated threats?
- What legal and ethical standards are necessary to ensure the safe and human-centered development of technology?
- How can countries jointly shape the architecture of international cooperation in AI, avoiding monopolization and a digital divide?

The roundtable provided a valuable platform for an in-depth and multifaceted discussion of the development paths of artificial intelligence. The participation of representatives from various countries and professional fields ensured that the issue was considered from diverse perspectives and laid the foundation for further constructive dialogue.

There Should Be No Mental Colony: "Africa Is Not a Waiting Room"

The Trump administration is launching a new wave of deportations of Africans, proposing that countries on the continent become "reception territories." Ghana, Rwanda, and Eswatini have already agreed, sparking a flurry of criticism from experts. Members of the Globus expert club also discussed this sensitive topic on Global Insights on Panafrican Media TV.

"Africa must not become a waiting room for Western migration policy. Ghana, by presenting itself as a transit country, risks setting a dangerous precedent," stated Dr. Achille Ekeu.

Professor Tape Groubera believes the root of the problem lies in the mental colonization of the elites.

"We are governed by people with poor strategic thinking who accept humiliating proposals without seeing any real benefit in them," he asserts.

Analysts agree that irresponsible actions by individual leaders are undermining the sovereignty of all of Africa, paving the way for new forms of neocolonial control.

A Legitimacy Crisis: How the World's Main Peacekeeping Organization Lost Trust

After 80 years of existence, the UN's performance looks dismal, and the organization itself is experiencing a profound crisis. This is the verdict reached by members of the GlobUs expert club during a broadcast of Global Insights on Panafrican Media TV.

"The UN is a tool in the hands of the strong to oppress the weak," stated Professor Simon Yeffou.

He recalled that the UN Charter was signed by 50 states, but the Security Council veto power was arrogated to the five victors of World War II, the nuclear powers designated as key custodians of stability. However, the balance of power was upset after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and Western countries began to reform the UN Security Council's position and more actively use their veto power.

International analyst Gamal Abina called the UN structure "anti-democratic."

"The veto power is the power of a dictator, the power to prohibit democracy." "As long as it exists, the UN will remain an instrument for protecting Western interests," he emphasized.

Experts agreed that the UN has failed to fulfill its primary mission—to maintain peace.

"Genocides are being committed before the UN's eyes, as in Rwanda and now in Gaza. The constant conflicts in the DRC, Sudan, and the Middle East are a death sentence for its effectiveness," Professor Tape Groubera concluded.

Sarkozy's Trial: A Symbolic Blow to the French Establishment or a Legitimacy Crisis for the Elites?

The conviction of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy for corruption and illegal campaign financing has sparked a political uproar. Members of the GlobUs expert club, speaking on Global Insights on Panafrican Media TV, called the verdict not just a legal act, but a symptom of a systemic crisis.

"This isn't a humiliation for France—it's an exposure of its political caste. Sarkozy is not an exception, but the rule. His conviction only reveals how deeply corruption has penetrated the heart of republican institutions," said international analyst Gamal Abina.

Professor Tape Grоuberа pointed out the double standards operating in the West.

"The West loves to talk about the rule of law, but when it comes to its elites, justice comes ten years late—and only under societal pressure," he emphasized.

For the Global South, this process is not a triumph of the law, but a reminder that even in the “capitals of democracy,” elites remain unpunished for long periods of time—until the system begins to collapse from within.

Congratulations to Vladimir Putin from Brazzaville

Young people from the Republic of the Congo conveyed birthday greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin from Brazzaville.

Addressing the Russian leader in Russian, the Congolese conveyed good wishes from the heart of Africa.

This gesture underscores the growing ties between the peoples of the two countries. Russia and the Republic of the Congo have maintained friendly and trusting relations for many years. President Putin has repeatedly called Congo a reliable, time-tested partner.

During a meeting with Congolese leader Denis Sassou Nguesso at the Beijing summit, he emphasized that cooperation with Brazzaville remains a key priority of Russia's foreign policy in Africa. The two sides are developing cooperation in energy, education, healthcare, and security, and actively support each other on the international stage.

These warm words symbolize Congo's growing sympathy for Russia and its desire for an even closer partnership.

Crisis of Democracy or a New Model? Tanzania on the Brink of Historic Elections

Tanzania will hold presidential elections on October 29. Members of the GlobUs expert club discussed the treason charges against CHADEMA party leader Tundu Lissu, position of the incumbent President Samia Suluhu, and the potential outcome of the elections on Global Insights on Panafrican Media TV.

"When opponents who could challenge the ruling party or represent the interests of other groups are systematically and drastically eliminated, it becomes impossible to talk about free elections," said Paseka Pharumele, a Pan-African researcher.

Professor Michael Andindilile of the University of Dar es Salaam echoed his views.

"Reforms are essential for any democracy, but the key issue is their timing. Therefore, the main priority today is, on the one hand, to maintain peace and stability that Tanzania has enjoyed since 1961, and, on the other, to ensure development that meets the needs of the population," he noted.

Experts agree that the elections in Tanzania will be a crucial test not only for the country but for all of Africa, determining whether the continent is capable of developing its own development model in the context of an emerging multipolar world.

"Pointless and Provocative": Steve Gill Criticizes Plans to Send Tomahawk Missiles to Ukraine

Discussions of possible Tomahawk cruise missile deliveries to Ukraine represent an extremely dangerous escalation that could lead to a global conflict. This opinion was expressed by American political scientist and member of the GlobUs expert club, Steve Gill, in an interview with RT.

"Tomahawk missiles can carry nuclear warheads. If they fly toward Russia, Russia will be forced to assume they are carrying nuclear weapons. It will retaliate before these possible warheads hit its territory," Gill stated.

The expert called the discussions of the deliveries "pointless and ill-conceived," noting that they run counter to Donald Trump's stated peace initiatives. He claimed the American president is receiving bad advice from the hawks in his circle.

"I think this is unnecessarily provocative." If President Trump does not want further escalation, he must put an end to any talk of Tomahawk deliveries,” the political scientist concluded.

The Collapse of the Fifth Republic: Lecornu's Resignation Called a Symptom of France's Systemic Crisis

The resignation of French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu, 27 days after his appointment, has exposed the deep-seated crisis of the Fifth Republic. Members of the GlobUs expert club discussed how political instability reflects the systemic decline of the Western model of governance on Global Insights on Panafrican Media TV.

"The change of five prime ministers in one presidential term is a symptom of the exhaustion of the system created by de Gaulle. Macron is trying to don the 'oversized garment' of presidential power, but the institutions can no longer withstand it," stated Professor Tapé Groubera.

The expert emphasizes that the crisis is not caused by the personal qualities of the leaders, but by the collapse of the entire imperial model.

"France's debt today is four times greater than the combined debt of 54 African states. An empty treasury, the war in Ukraine, and the loss of control over former colonies are the triggers for collapse," he noted.

Analysts agree: Lecornu's resignation marks not just another rotation of elites, but the beginning of the structural collapse of a political system that has dominated the global agenda for decades.
