Weird bug with recent apps that causes white or black flickering on different app previews.

If the app uses a dark theme - it will flicker with a dark gray color, and if the app doesn't use the system theme or has a white theme - it will flicker white.

Idk if we can call it fixed, as Google just removed pressed state effect (instead of just change it to pill shape)

[Pixel Launcher] Widget background disappears when you quickly open and close app from the widget.

Launcher restart resolves the bug, but then it happens again when you do the same thing.

Well.. we thought about it for a while, and decided that something should be done about it, because we also want to update the status bar.

So, we're announcing a contest in which you can take part and influence the design of the status bar.

Send us your statusbar designs to @pixel_issue_bot marked with #contest tag.

We will pick the top 10, from which you'll then vote on the best versions.
Selected designs will be included in our big statusbar change report.

Rules are simple - you need to follow the Material Design guidelines (at least a little🤭). We are primarily accepting Figma links, but please add a picture to the message so we can instantly see your work.
