This is not a user-facing bug, but considering that things haven't changed in the last five years, we're bringing this to your attention. Google Tasks, which is now the default service when using Google Assistant, does not provide the information necessary to know the due date of a task via its API.

This is hindering developers from integrating Google Tasks into their own apps. Once fixed, Google Tasks events can be a part of third-party calendars, create automations, and more.
