ICYMI: Burkina Faso’s🇧🇫 President Ibrahim Traore: “A slave that does not rebel does not deserve pity. The African Union (AU) must stop condemning Africans who decide to fight against their own puppet regimes of the West…Victory to our peoples! Homeland or death”

The young Burkinabe leader finishes his speech at the Russia-Africa Summit with Fidel Castro’s signature quote. Notably he includes a red beret and part of his military uniform, drawing comparisons to the late Thomas Sankara. Is Traore’s agenda to finish what Sankara started?

Russia🇷🇺 has become the 5th largest economy in the world in GDP at Purchasing Power Parity. At the end of 2022, despite unprecedented sanctions, Russia’s economy stood at $5.51 trillion in GDP PPP, making it larger than Germany’s economy…which means Russia now has the largest economy in Europe.

Another embarrassment for the US and it’s European allies/vassals?

On this day in 1945, the United States dropped the ‘Little Boy’ nuclear bomb on Hiroshima, Japan🇯🇵. 140,000 people were killed in Hiroshima by the end of 1945.

Militarily, the move was pointless as Imperial Japan’s military machine was close to finished, and Joseph Stalin was about to open a second front against Japan. Instead, the bomb was dropped to justify the billions spent on the Manhattan Project and to frighten the USSR.

After Hiroshima was wiped off the map and the population began to suffer the effects of radiation, the US covered up the hell that had been created. Officials would downplay the number of civilian casualties in the two cities and dispute as “propaganda” reports from Japan of extreme suffering caused by “radiation disease.”

The US censorship office under General Douglas MacArthur prohibited all reporting and photography by Japanese journalists. The US military seized all historic newsreel footage shot days after the bombing, this footage would disappear forever.

How Africa remains under the neo-colonial domination of France🇫🇷:

France forces much of Francophone Africa to use the CFA Franc, and African countries were obligated until recently store at least 50% of their foreign assets with France’s Central Bank. France controls the monetary policy of the Central Bank of West African States and the Bank of Central African States, having a de-facto veto on the boards of these central banks.

French companies have a first right of refusal on major projects, France essentially controls the commanding heights of African economies. For example, the French mining company Orano owns majority stakes in 3 uranium mines in Niger🇳🇪.

What has the citizens of Francophone Africa gotten for this domination by Paris? Not a single country which uses the CFA Franc is in the 10 richest countries in Africa. 11 of the 14 CFA Franc countries are considered among the ‘Least Developed Countries’ category by the United Nations. The CFA Franc Zone is the most impoverished area in Africa.
