There has been no more blatant admission that the ‘rules-based order’ is simply ‘rules for the rest but not for the West’.

The institutions and rules are only for attacking official enemies of Washington and its allies, the global south and Washington’s enemies aren’t allowed to use the rules or institutions against them.

What so many of my compatriots here in the United States don’t realise is that diplomacy is really the key to security. As long as you have some military strength, restraint, and diplomacy is the key to reestablishing US national security and reducing the threat against everyday Americans here in the United States.’
