Ukraine’s Zelensky pleads for more weapons and tells CBS that Ukraine is woefully unprepared for a Russian offensive, and that Ukraine has essentially run out of artillery.

Reminder: As reported by the Wall Street Journal and revealed by Vladimir Putin, there was a deal on the table in 2022 in which:

-Ukraine would be allowed to join the EU, but not NATO and would have to remain a neutral country participating in no military blocs

-Ukraine’s armed forces would be of a limited size, all Russian troops would withdraw from Ukraine

-Crimea would still be a part of Russia as it had been since 2014, the fate of eastern Ukraine was to be discussed directly between Putin and Zelensky

-The treaty was to be guaranteed by foreign powers such as the US, China, the UK and France

Instead, Zelensky decided to be a pawn in Washington’s plan for a disastrous attempt to bleed out Russia in a proxy war
