Back in January, the upcoming Self-Share feature was discovered in Chrome OS, and now a similar option is coming to Android as well. This mode will allow you to quickly share files with the same Google account ("Your devices"), without needing to approve the share.
In place of the previous "hidden" option, there's now a toggle for "device visibility" in Nearby Share settings.

Previously, they were right below the search bar, but now the categories are located under the Google logo and their icons are hidden in square tiles with rounded corners.
It's worth noting that when you switch, for example, to pictures, the categories take their former place. Perhaps this will be improved in the future.
