Android 12 QPR3 will have a new setting to "always show icon when in vibrate mode"
With the release of Android 12 on Pixel devices, the vibration mode icon disappeared from the status bar (but you could still see it when the QS panel was open). In late March, Google said it would fix the problem in a future build. Then in the first beta version of Android 13, Mishaal Rahman found traces of a new switch that allows you to enable the display of the icon in the status bar.
And now, Android 12 QPR3 Beta 3, which came out a week after Android 13 Beta 1, appeared to already include this switch, which is located in the "Sound & Vibration" settings section at the very end.

Google Translate now allows you to save and manage translation history in your account
Users can choose whether to save their Google Translator activity in their Account. They can also choose to work without an account (profile icon > down arrow > Use without an account).
If you want to synchronize your search history to the cloud, you need to make sure that the Web & App Activity control setting is turned on in your Google account settings. Translation History syncs every few hours, so locally recorded stories remain local and up-to-date.

YouTube Music testing big playlist UI redesign on Android
The сover art is now displayed in the center. Above it, you can see who created the playlist and when it was last updated down to the date. Below the cover art is the name of the playlist in a larger font size and the denoscription.
The download, add to library, play, share, and the overflow menu buttons are now placed within circles. The Cast and Search buttons remain where they are.
Finally, the entire top area has a blurred background in the cover colors.
It's worth noting that this layout lacks "shuffle" button (on the first screen) and information about the number of songs in the playlist.

Digital Wellbeing will be able to dim your Android 13 wallpaper at night
In the latest Digital Wellbeing beta update, 9to5Google found strings about the wallpaper dimming effect in Android 13:
Dim the wallpaper
Screen options at bedtime
Keep the screen dark, dim the wallpaper, and more
There was also an altrenal text supposedly displayed on devices not yet running Android 13, from which it was revealed that Bedtime Mode will also be able to make your device "use a dark background". Judging by another snippet of text, it is about turning on Android's built-in dark mode.
Keep the screen dark, use a dark background, and more
Use a black background
Dylan Roussel has managed to enable it on an Android 13 Beta device and showed few examples of a wallpaper being dimmed, ranging from 0% (disabled) to 100% (fully black).
🔗 9to5Google
Upd: Mishaal Rahman shared on Esper the commands on how to enable wallpaper dimming back in March:

🇬🇧 Android 12 QPR3 Beta 2 has the new System Photo Picker introduced in Android 13. The System Photo Picker is available in the updated Media Storage APK shipped as part of the MediaProvider module. This is enabled by default in Android 13, but in Android…
Google is gearing up to launch the Android 13 photo picker
One of the key features of Android 13 is the new System Photo Picker, which allows you to give the app access only to specific photos and videos, while ensuring the privacy of your media on your device. This tool should appear on all Android 11+ devices via Google Play system updates. (app developers have to add support for it).
And now, there is a new addition to the May 2022 Google Play system update:
A new developer service and user experience that allows users to select specific photos or videos to share with the app, rather than granting permission for all media files on the device. For more information, see the website.
The link leads to a denoscription of the new PhotoPicker. It was previously discovered that this tool can already be activated on Android 12L.

The Android team will again host a fireside Q&A chat at Google I/O 2022 Live Q&A sessions with the Android team have been a tradition at previous Google developer conferences. Last year, the company skipped hosting this session, but it will take place again…
Ahead of the Google I/O conference, the company has prepared a free online Pinball game featuring Android, Chrome, Flutter and Firebase mascots.
Every year, Google brings its technology together in one app that highlights how the I/O conference brings developers from all disciplines together. A year ago, the company set up a virtual photo booth where you could take fun little pictures with your favorite Google developer mascots like the Android Bugdroid, Chrome Dino, and Dart/Flutter’s Dash.
This year, the mascots are back in the form of the Google Developers–themed pinball machine. It combines three lines of development: 1) it's a web app (Chrome), 2) built with Flutter and 3) using Firebase for hosting and a high score board. The game is also open source if you want to see how it is developed.
Since it's a web-based application, you can play it on both your desktop computer and your phone.
