Google's getting rid of Assistant's location-based and assigned reminders.
Google updated its support page for Assistant reminders, retitling it to remove "assign" from the original headline, and to add a blurb about the feature going away soon, but you can still use it in Google Chat and Gmail.
In the same support document, Google also details that location-based reminders are going away soon too (It allowed you to set reminders when you reach certain places), but you can still set routines for a location. However, Google Keep has a similar feature.
Also, you will be warned about the removal of this function by the assistant itself.

The Android Jetpack library now allows third-party developers to add Ultra-Wideband (UWB) support to their apps.
Previously, only system applications were able to use this module. But at #GoogleIO 2022, the company officially announced a simple set of UWB APIs working through the Android Jetpack library, which was supposed to appear within a month. And now that day has arrived.
Google has released androidx.core.uwb version 1.0.0-alpha, which allows apps to interact with UWB-enabled devices like the Pixel 6 Pro or Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra, S21 Ultra, S22 Plus / Ultra and Z Fold 3.
Currently, the UWB API requires the device to run Android 12 or newer.

Google Sound Amplifier gets Material You Redesign and enhanced features.
The new Material You design for sound visualization uses a waveform like in the Recorder app, and reorganizes the navigation of the app. Today's update also brings improved background noise suppression and faster, more accurate sound processing.

As a part of June Feature Drop, Google in collaboration with teenage engineering created a pocket operator app for Pixel (PO Pixel) that lets you shoot video content and turn it into fun music and video cut-ups. You can layer sounds, add visual effects, create patterns and beats and mix it all together to make your own unique tracks.

If you have Pixel 4, 4a, 5, 5a, 6 and 6 pro series devices included in the Android 12 QPR3 beta program, you just need to get a stable over-the-air (OTA) update to SQ3A.220605.009.A1/SQ3A.220605.009.B1.
After installing the public June update you will be able to exit the beta program without wiping your data.
If you take no action, your device(s) will automatically be excluded from the beta program in the coming weeks.
