• New Favorites tab
• New "Spaces" make it quick to access devices grouped by important categories like your lights, cameras, thermostats or network devices. Next year you will be able to create custom spaces.
• Updated media mini player
• New Nest camera controller
• Improved home automation with a new tab
• Expanded Household Routines to support more of your smart home devices
Google will open enrollment for a pre-test of the updated Google Home in the "coming weeks." Access registration at this link. However, even now you can try to register through the internal link of the app here.

Someone leaked the DogFood version of Google Home with a new design.
It seems that the company accidentally released the Google Home version 2.60.15.1-dogfood (Early Access) update on Play Store to test participants, and immediately pulled it. But someone had already managed to upload it to APK Mirror.
Simply installing the APK is unlikely to give you anything. Someone was lucky and the new design turned on just after force stopping the app. However, such cases are few. On the other hand, I was able to turn it on by using flags. As a reminder, this is a randomly posted DogFood* version.
The navbar has not yet been finalized. Dynamic colors do not apply yet.
*DogFood are raw versions of apps for internal testing.

Third-party accessories for the Pixel Watch are starting to appear on Amazon. Case maker Ringke has released a stainless steel protective bezel for the "wearable Google device" called "Bezel Styling."
It is designed to "protect your device from scratches and dust from frequent use," as well as from cracks from impact. This accessory attaches with a "double-sided tape" with a cutout for the crown.
Also in one of the promotional images in Google Store email, the company showed the Active band in "Coral" color.
