Google Discover feed on your home screen will soon show suggestions 'from your apps'.

This recommendation box will only appear in the feed accessible by swiping to the left on the home screen. It will display recommended content from the streaming services installed on your device. For now, mostly US services are available, and the list of supported apps will be expanded in the future. (currently there are 22 of them).

It is likely that this section is intended primarily for tablets.

Pixel 8 and 8 Pro wallpaper and colorways names have been leaked.

Thanks to a source inside Google, Kamila Wojciechowska, (via 🔗 Android Authority), has shared the new wallpapers that the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro will ship with. The main theme is Minerals. Created by Andrew Zuckerman. Each has a dark theme variation.

The colorways for the upcoming Pixel 8 series have also been revealed. Pixel 8 colors: Haze, Jade, Licorice, Peony. Pixel 8 Pro colors: Jade, Licorice, Porcelain, Sky.

It is important to note that these are the names used for internal development. The number of colors and their marketing names are subject to change.

The new Google Weather icon and some more real images of the updated UI.

The first reviews for the Pixel Tablet have started to appear online, and many of them show off the updated weather page interface we saw earlier. A close look at the materials reveals that in addition to the updated UI, the weather shortcut icon has also been updated. And yes, it's still part of the Google Search app.

Pixel Tablet screensavers can run on any device with Android 13. But it's not all that simple.

The Pixel Tablet inherits the Nest Hub's informative screensavers with clocks, weather and photos. A special 'Dreams' app (com.google.assistant.hubui) is responsible for this. When the tablet is docked, one of the pre-selected screensavers is automatically activated.

The APK of the 'Dreams' app can be installed on any device with Android 13 and the relevant screensavers will appear under 'Settings/Display/Screensavers'. Here you can also set the screensaver enable on charge.

From my experience, only the Frog, 4 clock options and Weather (50/50) are functional. Also, they don't show info the way it looks on the Pixel Tablet.
