Android 14 QPR1 Beta1: Pixel Launcher is experimenting with a new "floating" search bar".
Back a year and a half ago, the Pixel Launcher app had an ENABLE_FLOATING_SEARCH_BAR flag that essentially just pinned the search bar in the app box to the bottom of the screen and above the keyboard.
In a fresh build, as spotted by Mishaal Rahman, this experiment was continued, and now the search bar literally floats and is available even from the recent app overview. All this is accompanied by pleasant animations.
Fortunately, anyone can try it even without root access using the ADB command:

When connecting Android smartphone via USB cable to PC, there is a new "Webcam" preference. Once activated, the system will display notification from "Webcam Service" Clicking on it will allow you to customize the use of your smartphone's camera.
It is possible to set 1x or 2x zoom, as well as switch to the front camera. On a PC, the camera will appear as Android Webcam, and, at least on Windows, you can also rotate the video streamed from the phone camera.

The design of the body materials follows the Pixel 7a, the camera still looks more recessed than the flagships due to the thickness of the body. However, you can notice much more rounded corners.
According to the usual release schedule for A-series devices, the Pixel 8a could arrive in May-July.

Ahead of the presentation MySmartPrice shared official renders of Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro in all color variants. Each of the smartphones will have 3 color variations:

• Porcelain

It is designed to simplify the creation and editing of videos by offering tools such as precise editing and trimming; adding video segments, photo and audio; changing frame rates; automatically add captions (available in select languages); voiceover capabilities; and access to a library of filters, effects, transitions and royalty-free music with beat matching technology.
The YouTube Create app is in beta testing. It is only available on phones with Android version 8.0 or higher and at least 4GB of RAM.
