Big News for TYC. We are getting evicted by the end of the month for running an "illegal" comedy show. Having get togethers where people bring their own alcohol to listen to comedy isn't illegal. Nothing about a house party is illegal. But here we are nonetheless. Good friends and broke acquaintances have always been allowed in for free. To hear somebody call this a business or think I'm making any kind of profit has been the biggest compliment I've received in months. So to celebrate this achievement all shows for the rest of the month are totally free. Let's just have a good time in this space while we still have it.

Another successful free social gathering/private antiwar protest. Loved all these fellas. I'm so happy to book acts like these and many others I've had on my shows over the years. I feel like I've failed them lately. Mainly because The Basement will be cut short before it can ever really begin. This will be the last month of TYC free social gatherings/antiwar protest.
