I know it seems a bit soon, considering we only released 2.1 recently, but I am working hard on 3.0
3.0 will not really have much for the players - no new roles, nothing of that sort.
3.0 is a complete refactoring of the project, to clean up the code, make it smoother, make it react even better, clean up minor bugs / nuances, etc etc etc.
The main thing about 3.0 though, is it is all for one major goal:
@werewolfbot is going open source. Developers in our player community will now be able to contribute, add roles, add features, etc etc etc. Stay tuned for more information on this :)

Just did a ton of optimization on the SQL DB. Dropped SQL CPU usage from 50% to 2%. This should make for a lot less lag, and faster responses
IMPORTANT NOTE
In about an hour or so, I will need to bring the bot completely down to replace the API token. Thanks to some automatic configurations in Visual Studio, the API token for the bot was leaked. If someone grabbed this, they could use it to impersonate the bot, spam, get the bot blocked, all kinds of bad things. It has to be replaced. Unfortunately the only way I can do that is to shut the bot down, replace the key, then bring it back online. The process only takes a few seconds, but we will wait for all games to finish before doing so.
TL;DR There will be some downtime in an hour.

Something strange is happening to the village... Everyone suddenly forgot who they are! The only things some people can remember are names of important people to them (but important why?) and when they are supposed to do... something... to someone. Not a lot of information to go on, but even with mass amnesia, the village killings must go on!
(New game mode: Amnesia! Players won't be told their roles and must do their actions anyway... Only then they can come close to deducing what their roles are! Find it as a language config under English > Amnesia Mode)

Stats are now available for all players and groups! Use /stats to check them :).
At the current moment, Global Stats are calculated hourly. I may change this to daily, or twice daily, depending on how often it really changes.

Just so everyone knows, as I have gotten MANY questions about this -
There will be NO new roles for awhile, not until I have completely revamped the role assignment system.
The current method of "at x players, add y role" has reached the point that the only way to get new roles is to play in a large group (or chaos). The new system will instead assign a point value to each role, and create teams using those values to balance the teams. This way, you can play a normal game, but with various roles - and it will always be balanced.
Until this has happened, there will be no consideration of any new roles.
