We had a minor issue an hour ago which caused the bots message queues to fill up, and it took them awhile to catch back up. All bots are online and running normally now.
@werewolfIIbot is currently experiencing some bugs with the telegram bot API. We are working closely with Telegram on this (beta testing new API features - appears one has a bug :P )

All bots are back to normal. I just patched the code for both Control and Node, which dropped CPU usage massively, so we shouldn't have any more lag.
If you ping the bot, it will show CPU usage is 0% -
That's because I disabled CPU usage checking, as, ironically, checking the CPU was the part of the code using the MOST CPU......

Ok, just did some more patches to lower the CPU usage even further. At this point we should be able to handle tomorrow's games without a problem

First notable update (as requested) is that you can now have welcome messages containing gifs. Note: This feature does not work in normal groups due to limitations on Telegrams side
The second one is that the bot is no longer affected by the case the command is in (commands sent in caps and anything in between works now as well). Note that /extra commands are still case sensitive.
Gif Welcome Usage:
Reply to a gif when you are setting your welcome message and the bot will send the gif with the welcome message.

Another @werewolfbutlerbot update. Some of you will start seeing broken markdown on the bot.
This is because the message contains a odd number of _ (underscores). Telegram uses underscores to indicate an italic markdown but if a name, username etc contains an underscore it breaks the markdown as telegram is expecting you to mean italics when you are just sending a name.
To solve this issue the bot will automatically disable markdown if there is an odd number of underscores.

Hi guys. Telegram is experiencing some issues with the Bot API. All 4 bots will be back asap.
Can all the group admins please remove @werewolfbot and @werewolfiibot until further notice so that when we come back online your users dont get banned for spam and you can get playing sooner.
