Updates we've done the past couple days:

(changed) When the wolf cub dies, and there is only one wolf left, and that wolf dies from their first choice (hunter, sk) - their second choice will no longer die

(changed) Fool will no longer see Alpha / Cub, only "Wolf"

(fixed) Players fleeing / joining the game as the game starts could cause a crash

(fixed) Bitten / infected player will no longer be notified if they are dead

(fixed) numerous bug fixes, improvements to stability

(fixed) Blacksmith unable to stop wolves

There was an issue where if your personal language had been set to Espanol / Spanish, bot commands would no longer work. This has been fixed for all of those users. Apologies!

Hi everyone. every bots ability to see all chat messages seems to of been reset or disabled.
We trying to find ways to fix this

Note this is purely caused by telegram and nothing else. Only the bot last to speak can see messages in the chat now

In the meantime we have modified enforcer to respond to commands start with ! Instead of /. Not all commands have been changed but alll the important ones have

About half the commands can use ! Now however there are many bugs with them that I need to fix.

Please send !enforce to get the bots attention before sending a command start with /. Thank you

all issues with !ban have been resolved. !warn is nexted

Messages sent in reply to a message that was meant to be sent to another bot do not work. If you want to warn, ban etc find a message from the user that isnt being sent to another bot. I know many reply to their /join message which does not work.

Telegram are however fixing this so you dont have to do it permanently. The normal / commands will also start working again once Telegram have sorted this out.

All the bots will now reply to / commands normally.

A FRIENDLY REMINDER TO ALL WW PLAYERS:

A few people are getting banned for flooding the bot. Let me explain a few things here:

Spamming a command is not some kind of magic. Hitting a command 40 times will not make anything magical happen. It's like the button on an elevator - pressing it multiple times is not a secret passcode or anything.

The spam detection is actually quite lenient. If you hit it, you were seriously spamming it. The bot also warns you before it bans you.

Here's the bigger reason why this happens though -
Everytime you hit a command, it's meant to get a response from the bot. Each time the bot has to send a command, it counts towards the API limit. So spamming a command reaches the bot towards API limits, and lags the bot for EVERYONE. This is why we are very strict about spamming the bot - if you do it enough for the bot to auto-ban you, that's on you. You were given a warning and continued to spam the bot.

For those that haven't seen the news yet, @werewolfbot was entered into a contest awhile back. Telegram announced earlier today the first set of winners, and @werewolfbot was selected!

Those getting the Sunday Bloody Sunday achievement, this is a bug, it will be removed

We saw that people were having problems with inserting bot commands without sending them.

You can use tab on desktop to complete the command without sending it.
