Whoever has added @werewolfbot or @werewolfIIbot to a channel (not a group, a CHANNEL) - please remove it.

All bots are back online. There was an update to the bot api dealing with how bots receive messages from channels. We had to modify the code to handle these new update types. Though really, I have no idea why werewolf would be in a channel....

Problem with Lynch voting has been found and patched. Deploying new code shortly.

It's amazing how much a single missing ? can break things

Code has been patched, however bots 1 and 2 are unable to receive updates from Telegram. They are asking for messages from the server, but Telegrams server is not sending them. Nothing we can do but wait it out :(.

While we wait, why not step outside, get some fresh air? Maybe grab some food or something :)

The bots appear better now but we can't say if they will be okay for good yet.

As many of you know, there is an achievement for playing with the developer of werewolf (me). However, I have not been able to play a game in over a month without being killed within the first 24 hours. Also, MANY people PM me at all hours asking me to play.

OHAIDER achievement will no longer be automatic, based on if I play.

I will create a new account, and play. Once a week or so, I will retroactively give the achievement to anyone who played with that new account, so that way no one knows who they played with that was actually me.

No, neither I nor my admins will tell you what the new accounts name is.

This will go into effect as soon as I get a new account. Until then, please do not PM or ask me to play.

I should mention:
This means I will start playing a lot more, as I'll be able to enjoy the game :)

A new winchart for everyone to see the balance

Hey Enforcer users. Sorry banlist was missing for a bit while we figured out what to do with it.

In large groups the list length causes the bot to hit api limits but I think we have found a nice compromise.

The command can be used again.

We have also added some protection systems to stop the bot from hitting the api limit when a lot of people join a group or report a message which will hopefully stop the lag we have been seeing this last week.

As the end of the year comes near, we remember that it's celebration time.
Whether you're celebrating Jul, חֲנֻכָּה, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or simply looking forward to the next full moon, make sure you celebrate it well - and responsibly.

Hello everyone I would just like to say it is @taletaletale birthday. She's an awesome admin who really cares about a lot of people. On this day wish her happy birthday. Oh yeah she's single everyone

Notice: We are going to start the process of retiring @werewolfIIbot (Bot 2). We no longer need it, and it's just eating up resources on the server to have an extra bot (werewolves are hungry!). In a short while, any attempt to start a game on Bot 2 will result in it directing you to Bot 1 (@werewolfbot).

If you are not currently in a game (in your group), and you have Bot 2 in the group, go ahead and remove it and replace with Bot 1 (@werewolfbot)
