Way back when, I was listening to Blackpilled’s analysis of the neo-nazi gun store owner scene in Falling down. The crux of Blackpilled’s argument was that the scene was a hollywood Jewish fantasy of a “secret Nazi room.” However, I think this misses the point we could learn.
Bill (D-Fens) is revolted by the worldview of the store owner. This should tell us that just because a normal person is dissatisfied with the world, perhaps even dissatisfied enough to start violently lashing out, that does not mean he’s one of us, nor that he will inevitably become one of us. Unless guided into an ideological framework that actually explains the problems of the modern world, he’ll just default to explaining them using the conceptual tools he already has. This leads to various forms of conspiratardism, Qanon and aimless reactionary thinking in general.

Economics always boils down to supply and demand: if you have more of something, its value goes down; if you have less of something, its value goes up. The job market functions similarly, as it operates like any other commodity. This is why unrestricted immigration can negatively impact the real economy (the standard of living) for the general population. Unless immigrants are filling highly specialized jobs that cannot possibly be filled by the existing workforce, increased competition in the job market will disadvantage the middle and working classes.

Middle class and working class people that support open borders likely represent the lowest IQ members of their respective class, because they don’t comprehend how a greater supply of employees — via mass immigration — in the job market hurts them, their children and all of their peers.

Boomer conservatives may try to argue that lowering wages has this knock-on effect of lowering prices for consumers, but this relies on the assumption that corporations care more about their customers saving money than they care about making bigger profits. Conservatism always assumes that large business owners and corporate directors are a more moral force that plays the greatest role in improving the welfare of the majority — which obviously isn’t true at all, otherwise we wouldn’t see things like shrinkflation.
