Oh, because “monarchy is different”? How does being under monarchy suddenly make your rights less important though? Your rights are either good or bad, form of government doesn’t change that.

I really don’t understand this infatuation with monarchy. Maybe I’m just too American for it. But here’s a map of countries under some form of monarchy. You can live in one of these countries if you really need monarchy so badly.

I would add that some countries, like North Korea, are virtually an absolute monarchy, it just has a communist facade. But hey, don’t judge an autocrat/monarch by his style.

Also as a Brit I can say unequivocally that I would exchange our monarchy for the First and Second Amendment any fucking day of the week.

Just for the record, I’m not against monarchy as a form of government (I used to be). I just think form of government is secondary. What primarily matters is having legally protected rights, and a culture of rights, against whatever form of government is in power via a constitution, with an armed population. We call this negative rights, as in freedom from gun control, censorship, warrantless searches and etc…

What needs to be drilled into every White person’s head, especially in the “dissident right,” is that our rights are what primarily matters, not form of government — especially in age of decline.

People around here talk so much about the need for a moral society, how it’s so important, but I would argue that without individual rights and freedom from the state, you literally cannot have a moral society. A society without individual rights is as much a moral society as a prison filled with criminals forced to obey rules that maintain a facade of order and civility.

What if you had a “noble” king that was a fanatical vegan, and by his royal decree, no was allowed to consume any animal products whatsoever, or they get the death penalty. Would monarchists like Dave be okay with that?

I’m genuinely curious, where do these absolute monarchists draw the line? And if they believe in drawing a line, why would they be okay with their right to keep and bear arms (the means to draw such a line in the sand) being curtailed by a “noble monarch”?

Okay, so what if your king is a Satanist? What if he’s pro -LGBTQ+? If you believe in the “divine right of kings,” you must obey all his decrees no matter what! You can’t even question his policies.

And don’t tell me there’s exceptions if you believe in the “divine right of kings.” You can’t have it both ways.

I’m not arguing for democracy, I’m not arguing against monarchy. I’m arguing against ever giving up your rights under any conditions. That’s really it.

I’m arguing for negative rights that are legally part of the contract between you and the state.
