We constantly hear people on the “dissident right” claiming that Zelensky wants the war to continue so more Russians and Ukrainians can die, because he’s just a Jew. But obviously that’s bullshit. Putin started the war and he clearly doesn’t want it to end…
I don’t think Trump is a Russian asset, I think he’s just naive regarding foreign policy and dealing with corrupt, shady dictators — he doesn’t understand what Putin actually wants and how thoroughly underhanded he is. Putin’s inability to agree to a ceasefire now is going to pull Trump closer to Zelensky. Trump has already invited Zelensky back to the White House and recontinued sending arms to Ukraine.

Putin doesn’t actually want a ceasefire, he’s just pretending to be open to a ceasefire so he can claim it’s Zelensky that wants the war to continue. Putin also doesn’t want to piss off Trump.
