I’m going to put on my conspiracy hat and go further with this: perhaps the true impetus behind reducing the right to keep and bear arms is this greater attempt to reengineer society so that diversity and equality are more workable, or at least make it appear more safe and functional. Right now, the left will point at the Second Amendment as the mistake because there’s simply no other scapegoat for rampant black gun crime.

Everyone understands that with greater freedom comes greater responsibility, but with diversity, freedom simply doesn’t work — some races are obviously more prone to impulsive, irrational violent behavior.

Rather than give up on diversity and racial-equality, the left would rather get rid of freedom (like your gun rights) and go as far as turning society into a hyper-restrictive, over-surveilled police state, where no one has access to firearms. The theory behind those that would support this is that fewer and fewer guns would be in circulation, thus fewer homicides involving firearms, and then voila: the black murder rate would statistically fall, thus giving a win to team diversity and equality!

In other words, as long as blacks have access to firearms, they will have a much higher murder rate, thus making it easier for race realists to point at the exceptionally high black murder rate against team-diversity-and-equality. Blacks would still have a higher murder rate without firearms, but with firearms it is much higher.

Of course, the more obvious motive is disarming White men. The left is always willing to use non-White gun crime statistics to promote the disarmament of White civilians. Let’s not forget that.

For the most part now they’re just legalized thugs protecting the Establishment. Maybe they always were and it’s just become more obvious in recent years, especially at the height of the Covid insanity.

It’s things like this that make more people realize that the police aren’t providing as much law and order to society as the thin blue line retards would all want us to believe.

Obviously the police don’t exist to protect you, and they can’t ever guarantee your security, they can’t even guarantee justice. The thin blue line is a facade: the police provide a semblance of law and order but in reality function more to protect the local establishment rather than society, which is all part of the greater establishment — that is, the government.

I’m not saying the police never do anything good, I’m not saying we would be better off with zero law enforcement, but it’s clear that society doesn’t benefit from the police half as much as the government/establishment would want us to believe.

If you can carry a gun, you must carry a gun; for your own security and for the greater good of society.

The “thin blue line” is a thick blue lie.

We can't forget to heap proper blame on judges and prosecutors, as well. They're the ones directly responsible for putting these repeat-offending ferals back onto the streets constantly

a fatal mistake people make is still viewing the trump presidency as a series of individual policy initiatives, which, if successful, mean redemption for trump. that curtain has long fallen. there will certainly be the occasional policy worth applauding. but trump has now irrevocably revealed precisely to whom he is indentured and whom he is willing to sacrifice for the sake of those masters (his loyal voters). so at this point, the scattered triumphs that come from his presidency are like losing weight from cancer. you may enjoy shedding a few pounds but you’re still dying.
