This is actually true, I’ve experienced this first hand when I had a European couple (online friend and his wife) visiting the USA for the first time from Britain a few years ago, and just as the commenter said here, it blew their minds how vast, rural, and open the USA is compared to Europe.

I mean, even in the east coast states, which is the much more populated side of the USA, you can find 300+ acres plots of land for sale for the price of a house. I mean, just look at Pennsylvania.

But it’s easy to see how people in Europe could see memes about that one picture in Breezewood PA and think, “ah yes, that must be every American’s town square!”

Facial tattoos ought to be illegal. They’re a grotesque offense against aesthetic decency.

Tattoos have become so common they’ve lost all meaning. And worse, they desecrate healthy, natural skin with layers of ink, like plastering the cheapest, ugliest wallpaper over solid wood.

No offense to the people here reading this that have tattoos. I just think that if you’re going to permanently mark your body, it should really be for important a reason — like if you went to prison or fought in a war, and even then I don’t think it’s always in good taste. What I see today is the working class getting their bodies (often the face, neck, and hands) covered in meaningless tattoos just because that’s the working class trend now. It’s not even meant to look cool or hip, it’s just something they do, along with vaping and religiously consuming hours of TikTok.

It’s just trashy. And being working class is no excuse to be trashy.

I remember just a decade ago, if a woman had a prominent tattoo, you could safely assume she’s a prostitute or just a wild race-mixing slut.

Tattoos look significantly worse on women. When a woman covers large areas of her body in tattoos — especially her face, hands, or neck — it’s the aesthetic equivalent of a man having his jawline or shoulders surgically removed. It’s that absurd and damaging to her appearance — it’s disfigurement.

The only White women that should have facial tattoos are mud slingers — it should be a tattoo of burning coal, with huge red flames, so everyone can see it.

Russia has exhausted most of its military capacity in Ukraine, while China watches, eagerly waiting to reclaim territory it once held from its historic regional rival. The open threats to invade Taiwan are a bluff.

Does anyone have any experience with an at home espresso machine? Especially the kind that grind the coffee beans and steam the milk?

I’m starting to wonder if a real espresso machine is noticeably superior to those Nespresso capsule machines — what I have now.

If I get a good recommendation for an espresso machine, I’ll post latte art in my early life cup.

In a recent interview to Tucker Carlson, John Mearsheimer railed against Israel, calling its actions in Gaza "genocide". Yet in the same breath he whitewashed Russia of its crimes, instead blaiming the West for Russian invasion of Ukraine. Needless to say, he omitted the more obvious and barbaric genocide that Russia is committing in Ukraine.

Russia-supporting pro-Palestinians are the most despicable lot. One can at least understand if someone is both pro-Ukraine and pro-Palestine. Although these two cases are not the same, at the very least this would be a principled stance - i.e., supporting the weak against the strong. But accusing Israel of genocide (whether correctly or not, that's not the point), while defending Russia is disgusting. This is essentially the manifestation of Third Worldism that needs to be eradicated from Western societies.
