In a recent interview to Tucker Carlson, John Mearsheimer railed against Israel, calling its actions in Gaza "genocide". Yet in the same breath he whitewashed Russia of its crimes, instead blaiming the West for Russian invasion of Ukraine. Needless to say, he omitted the more obvious and barbaric genocide that Russia is committing in Ukraine.

Russia-supporting pro-Palestinians are the most despicable lot. One can at least understand if someone is both pro-Ukraine and pro-Palestine. Although these two cases are not the same, at the very least this would be a principled stance - i.e., supporting the weak against the strong. But accusing Israel of genocide (whether correctly or not, that's not the point), while defending Russia is disgusting. This is essentially the manifestation of Third Worldism that needs to be eradicated from Western societies.

Here in the states, I’m becoming increasingly convinced that rural areas should be classified as a separate country from all the urban areas — that’s how vastly different the culture is. Obviously race is the biggest factor in everything, but even excluding race, there is this strong, growing cultural rift between urban and rural Americans that just keeps getting vaster.

It’s things like this that further bring me to the conclusion that the USA will likely balkanize into several countries within our lifetime.

I’m not saying that all urban areas will cleanly split from rural areas, but rather that this gigantic cultural rift is a factor facilitating political tension. It sets the whole political dynamic.

It’s too easy to criticize and mock people like this and say they’re just “LARPing,” but the concept of LARPing is itself a psyop against all prepping, against anyone being prepared to say “NO” and back it up.

Originally, LARPing exclusively referred to people waving swords made of foam and PVC pipe, pretending to battle each other, dressed as characters from medieval fiction — THAT was LARPing, and nothing else was. It would have been unfathomable back then to apply that term to people that are actually training with real firearms, in as real as possible tactical exercises. Just as the term “incel” has lost its meaning — what little it had to begin with — the term “LARPing” has so radically departed from its original meaning and application that it really has no meaning at all. It is yet another slur against men, against good men doing what all men should be doing.

Being a man means doing things, it means being competent and being able to fight. If that’s “LARPing,” than what do we call the activity of medieval fantasy dorks waving foam swords at each other?
