None of our important rights come from paper and ink, but they’re either protected or taken away by paper and ink. Our ancestors called these natural rights, which are rights we would have in a state of nature without the government imposing laws that can curtail or remove them. I’m a big fan of protecting our natural rights, especially as a father.

This is Karelia. A historically Finnish territory that has been occupied by Russia for the last 80 years. Russians conquered it from Finland as a result of the Winter War in 1940 and then again during WWII.

Just across the border is Finland. It boasts one of the highest standards of living in the world. While Russian-occupied Karelia exhibits African-level impoverishment. They are both at the same latitute. The climate is the same, the nature is the same. It's just the people on two sides of the border are different - drastically different.

Wherever Russians come, whatever Russians touch becomes a dumpster - a Third World hellhole. Now tell me? Given all this, how can anyone with a sane mind assume that Russians are just like Europeans? How can anyone assume that Russians belong to or even are compatible with European Civilization?

Karelia is a glaring case study - one among many. What was a blossoming orderly region under Finnish rule, and what could have been paradise on Earth had it stayed under Finland, became hell on Earth under Russian rule. The current border separating Finland from Russia is not simply a state border. It is border separating the great European Civilization from Russian primitivism and barbarism. It is a border separating incompatible peoples - civilized Europeans and barbaric Russians. It is a border separating Good from Evil.

And that Evil must be defeated. That Evil must be destroyed. Completely. Because it won't rest until it turns the whole Europe into one huge "Karelia". That's what Russians aim. Russians cannot excel, they cannot rise above Europeans. They are innately incapable of that. But what they can do to level the playing field in their favor is to drag everyone else down - impoverish anyone whom they can get their hands on. And that's what they have been doing throughout their 600-year history.

Russia must be destroyed. Disintegrated into dozens of states with their own national/regional identities that disavow their "Russian" past. Whatever it takes. Rusia delenda est.

I was rewatching a video of Hermes in Prague, and at one point Hermes and his guest were discussing the political situation in the Czech Republic and Poland regarding Ukrainian refugees, and how some Polish (and Czech) conservatives would rather have Africans and Indians than Ukrainian refugees.

A lot of Europeans really have no idea how awful Africans and Indians are. And perhaps out of a habit of petty nationalism they think Ukrainians are more of a threat to their niche European identity than Africans. Let’s not forget that some Polish nationalists also want Germany to pay them reparations for WW2.

This is why racial nationalism is healthier than ethno-nationalism. The latter cultivates White against White animosity, and ultimately hostility. Besides, most all Whites can easily assimilate into another White culture within one generation.

Racial/civilizational nationalism is actually the true meaningful universalism. It provides enough depth of feeling while at the same time increasing its breadth.

Limitless universalism preached by liberals maximizes the breadth of empathy - it basically demands empathy to be meted out equally to every person on Earth. However, as a result, it decreases the net amount of empathy each individual person receives - i.e., it sacrifices the depth of empathy.

Petty nationalism, on the other hand, maximizes the depth of empathy by limiting it to a very narrow in-group. As a result, each recipient of said empathy receives a lot, because the total empathy is minimally dispersed. But by doing so it sacrifices the breadth. The in-group becomes too small and isolated, and thus helpless against external threats.

Racial/civilizational nationalism solves this dilemma. In fact, the very concept of race itself, much-maligned in the post-WWII consensus, is in reality a unifying/universalist notion, not discriminatory. As it was conceived in the 19th century, it aimed to unite Europeans and prevent fratricidal wars. The goal was to show that English, Germans, French etc. should not fight each other. Because they are related to each other, and thus should love and help each other.

Turns out yesterday (October 6th) was German-American Day. The majority of white people in America today have German roots. It is heartening to see US Administration honoring America's European/German roots - those who have truly contributed to making America great.

As Chancellor Friedrich Merz also mentioned during his visit to the White House, Germany and America share common roots and heritage. Hence they are natural allies and should fight not against each other, but together. And this includes, first and foremost, the current confrontation against Russia - the vilest nemesis of Western Civilization.
