That negro that stabbed that 6 year old White boy to death in cold blood, that was somehow found not guilty by insanity (an insane verdict) was arrested again. He’ll likely end up back in prison. I hope he dies in prison.

Marion County Sheriff Bill Woods applauded the work of his deputies and stated that Exantus was living next to an elementary school. “I am proud of the quick response by my deputies and the inter-agency teamwork that helped locate and arrest this disgusting individual. The fact that he was living right next to an elementary school is even more repulsive. I have no tolerance for this type of dangerous person flaunting our laws and thinking he would hide out in our county.”
Florida Attorney general James Uthmeier announced on social media prior to Exantus’s arrest that officials are working to move him back to Kentucky.

Oh wow. The White House is looking into this whole case. I’m crossing my fingers that the WH advances some sort of legislation that prevents these subhuman savages from ever being released.

I think Israel is going to try to pull off some sort of 9/11 false flag on US soil at some point soon — the Jews want us back in the Middle East, killing their enemies and clearing the way for greater Israel.

There’s a lot of people on the Telegram-right that feel this self-righteous need to take a big stand against AI. They allege that LLMs will manipulate people and make everyone dumber; specifically, they fear that most people will delegate all of their thinking to AI. But this is nothing new! These critics assume people weren’t already delegating their thinking before this technology — boomers raised on television ring a bell? All the “evidence” that suggests that AI will make people dumber doesn’t seem to account for the fact that many people were already NPCs, long before AI or any computer technology was available. The people that will be manipulated by Ai are the same people that were easily manipulated by radio and television.
They also lament the massive amount of AI created slop that has flooded the internet, but most of it is easy to avoid.
The only legitimate criticism I see against the rise of AI and LLMs is that massive amount of energy that’s consumed to facilitate this technology. But that will change as the energy required to run Ai will inevitably decrease as technology advances.
Ai and its LLMs are all just part of the inevitable advancement of technology, which always moves forward. If you still find that to be problematic, then the only answer is to halt technological advancement by going back to a previous, more primitive state of technology. Some of these critics of AI think it would be better to return to the 80s, back when people were just being mind-controlled by television, film and radio stations. But why not go back to the Bronze Age?
I’m of the opinion that past a certain point — the Industrial Revolution — technology inevitably will advance to Ai and LLMs, and the only way to stop that is to return to a pre-industrial state of society. So you can’t just go back to the technological state of the 1980s and stay there, you have to return to the technology of the 1750s or earlier.

In short, Ai won’t make anyone dumber. It just seems that way because more people are using Ai, which also includes more people from the left side of the IQ bell curve.

I agree. But I don't even see a problem with the massive amount of energy that is currently being consumed to power AI. Surely, the energy costs will go down in the future, but even now it is a price worth paying.
AI is one of the greatest scientific discoveries on par with steam engine or electricity, for example. It is already improving our lives. And it will accelerate great discoveries in other scientific disciplines as well.

These people that object to AI are the same sort of curmudgeons that objected to the invention of the pocket calculator. Eventually they’ll all embrace AI, making it as much a part of their daily life as computers, electricity and everything else. They’ll all forget they ever had any problems with AI, because all of their fault-finding curmudgeon-energy will be focused on the next technological achievement. 20 years from now, It’ll be amusing to watch them getting nostalgic about a time when we only had the Ai and LLMs of 2025.

My overall point is that there’s no middle ground when it comes to technology and Ai: you are either in favor of technology (everything since the Industrial Revolution) or you are against it. If you really don’t like AI and LLMs, you need to go full Ted Kaczynski. Let me repeat, there is no middle ground here, and I know that Ted Kaczynski would absolutely agree with me here.
The choice is that you embrace Ai or return to the early 18th century — there is no in between. You can’t just return to the “good old days” of the 80s or 70s and not end up with LLMs and Ai again. Technology doesn’t freeze in place like that.

The argument that Ai is making humanity inferior is as solid an argument as saying that agriculture and civilization has made us into something inferior — which has at least a kernel of truth depending on how you look at it! Our hunter-gatherer ancestors were physically superior.
Ai shouldn’t be singled out as the problem, because it’s just another step on the same path, with the same sort of consequences.

I’ll take this even further: if you don’t make use of Ai and learn how to really use it, other people will have leverage over you, and it will be far easier for them to manipulate you — because they’ll understand Ai and you won’t.
