I'm genuinely open to listening to in-good-faith, solid arguments against the Second Amendment, I just genuinely haven't come across any that were legit. The reality is that worse things could be said about the First Amendment (freedom of speech) and yet we would be totally screwed without it. Freedom of speech certainly hasn't prevented tyranny, and most people aren't benefiting from it (they aren't hearing our arguments in the sea of noise); but again, like with the Second Amendment, we have to understand that these things are not magic spells, and they were not created to be magic spells, because magic is not real. The legal utility of having legally codified rights — even when they are infringed upon — is that it gives us legal ammunition (pun intended) against the system that would certainly be much more oppressive if these legal hurdles (the Bill of Rights) didn't exist at all.

A new poll has been released by the Reagan National Defence Survey. As also other recent polls consistently show, in the US, support for Ukraine has been steadily incresing, not decreasing.
