Today I was listening to Travis Leblanc's article on Counter Currents about Richard Spencer, in which he references Leblanc's first CC article 'The Skeptic War', which is truly a blast from the past with the names it references. The latter hauntingly predicts the ego-cult of Spencer when it says:

"Finally, the Kraut and Tea debacle is a cautionary tale of how destructive narcissistic sociopaths can be if allowed into positions of influence in a movement. There’s a lesson here for the Alt Right."

If one reads further:
"But the really twisted part of Kraut’s downfall was his refusal to concede defeat once it was clear that he could not win. His ego simply would not allow him to admit that he made a mistake and correct course. So he kept doubling down again and again.

Kraut was like the Black Knight in Monty Python’s Holy Grail. As he took grievous wound after grievous wound, he only became more arrogant and boastful. Just when you thought “Surely he must give up now!” Kraut charged forward again only to lose another limb."

This echoes the same haunting prediction among other figures in our circles now, whose cult is shrouded by a devotional following to their status. I foresee that this egoism of dissident right e-celebs will lead to similar outcomes, each refusing to concede that they were ever wrong, seeking status more than truth, looking to double down ever deeper in an attempt to stay ahead of the crowd and score the next hot take.

Gosh, what could possibly go wrong for us if we live in a world of digital identification, especially if you’re a true political dissident?

This technology is only going to be in the hands of people that at best see you as tax cattle, but more likely they’ll be establishment loyal SJWs, pajeets and you-know-whos reviewing all the “private” background information associated with your digital ID and reporting you to the government and banks if you say the wrong things online.

Never in a million years could anyone have imagined that there would be a faction of White Nationalists that uncritically worships the governments of China and Russia while ignoring, condoning and even commending the loss of their own race’s freedom and rights. Or maybe the leaders of this faction aren’t really White Nationalists, and they’re just using our movement to advance another agenda, one that better suits their personal ambitions. It’s really nothing new.
